Paul Sporer: Hello everyone, let’s talk some baseball on this glorious Friday afternoon!

hscer: good pod as usual. here’s a vote for not trading Ketel for Ramirez

Paul Sporer: Thanks! I love Ketel and I’m definitely worried about Ramirez

Jerry: Who’s the better IL stash: Severino, Glasnow, or Taillon?

Paul Sporer: I like them in the order you’ve listed

Christian: I’m running out of patience with Donaldson and Puig…any hopes they do better than this?

Jeff Zimmerman: Hello, I’m still getting things together.

Jeff Zimmerman: Translation: I need to get a beer.

Paul Sporer: Good afternoon, everyone! It’s time to chat!

Peter: I need HRs/RBIs, what bat should I be targeting in a trade for Lucas Giolito? Should I wait a start before trading him to get more value?

Paul Sporer: “Who do I target” qs are really hard bc it’s all about what your market will bear, so I don’t really know, but you should be able to request a strong power bat

Manny: OBP League Keeper, would you move Vogelbach straight up for Mallex Smith, given the state of speed?

Paul Sporer: Ya that definitely works

Ralph: How good is Caleb Smith as a keeper? Better than Musgrove? Can he reach Nola/Buehler/Flaherty levels?

Brad Johnson: Hey folks, we’ll get started in a few moments.

Brad Johnson: A word of warning, I’m going to be a little extra deliberate in my answers today. I’ve been unplugged from anything that’s happened since Thursday. Still catching up.

Vic: Will Keller get more well deserved opportunities to start?

Brad Johnson: Like this, I completely missed this.

Brad Johnson: The Pirates seemingly have a spot for Keller in place of Steven Brault

Brad Johnson: Or he could take Kingham’s slot

Jeff Zimmerman: I’ll try to start at half past. I’m grabbing the Tout Wars Mixed league bids.

Waivers: Someone in my dynasty league dropped Domingo German today. Would you pickup if you were contending this year?

Paul Sporer: Welcome, everyone! I’ve got my NFBC 2nd Chance League tonight, let’s talk some baseball!!!

Corbin Martin: How long is my leash in the rotation after back to back wet-fart starts?

Paul Sporer: Not too long in 10- and 12-teamers, especially bc HOU may move on

Ross: Who would you target if trying to trade Stroman in 18-team mixed? Looking for wins, saves, or average.

Paul Sporer: Let me cut these ones off right from the jump, it’s impossible to really answer bc I could say 3 names and end up with all of them on your own roster. It’s better to suggest names you’re targeting and then I can answer if that’s in the range (even that isn’t perfect, but much more useful)

Kenny: Is Amed Rosario worth holding on to in a 12 team mixed over some of the prospects being called up like Cavan Biggio?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’ll go ahead and get started.

Jeff Zimmerman: As usual, I will answer all the FAAB and waiver wire questions first. Also, I’m going to try to group the “rank these X players” into one huge ranking. Maybe.

Jeff Zimmerman: First off, here are the Tout Wars 15-team mixed league results.

Paul Sporer: It’s time to talk some baseball!!!

Mark Shapiro: What would you do with Colin Mchugh in 12 team dynasty league?

Paul Sporer: I’m not against cutting him. I think he’ll be solid out of the pen, but I’m not sure how useful a decent non-saves RP is in 12-teamer

hscer: Talked a lot about Tigers on #688 but didn’t hear Goodrum’s name…I’m still holding as a bench bat in some places, but not sure how bright that is all else equal

Paul Sporer: Did a podcast with Alex Fast of PitcherlIst (out later today) and Goodrum gets some love. I think there’s some upside. He deserves better than we’ve seen

Vern Rapp: Expectation for Soroka ROS? He can’t be this good, obviously, but is low 3.00s ERA and sub 1.10 WHIP feasible?

Brad Johnson: Welcome. We’ll get started in a few moments.

Ray Liotta as Shoeless Joe: Travis Shaw…worth picking up and stashing on the DL?

Brad Johnson: So we might as well start with a little monologue about the Brewers.

Brad Johnson: 1. Hiura was called up today. Decent chance he struggles initially. Long term, I’m very bullish. Could click immediately. His strikeout rate at Triple-A looks bad, but more recently it’s been good. Selectively choosing the best “recent” sample reveals 18.4% K% since April 21.

Fangraph’s Lurker: In a 10 team league, already got a twin (odorizzi) and a phillie (Nola), but should I drop stroman for Gibson? Or eflin? Or pick up hiura?

Brad Johnson: I’d stash Hiura
