Paul Sporer: Good afternoon, everyone! I’m back after a week off, let’s talk some baseball!!!

Zipp: I hate catchers, that is all

Paul Sporer: But Will Smith is an absolute monster!

Don Juan: What do you think the upside for Aaron Sanchez is?

Paul Sporer: I mean it’s hard not to be excited about what the Astros could do for him given their recent successes. It might not click until next year, but I’m willing to bet on spec in most leagues that he can be a low-4.00s guy with solid win probability

Rickey H.: A Duvall in Nl

Brad Johnson: We’ll get started in a few moments.

Zach: Is Sergio Romo safe to drop, i.e. have the Twins officially said they’re sticking with Rogers at closer?

Brad Johnson: I’ve seen nothing to that effect. I always would be outright stunned if they didn’t add a closer. I’d hang onto Romo just a little longer to play it safe.

Brad Johnson: Though if you wanted to speculate on someone like Bummer, you could. Losing Romo the Closer isn’t a big deal even if he retains the job.

fast eddie: This is the end of any Ty Buttrey spec, right?  We can all stop stashing him now?

Brad Johnson: You’re referring to his recent slump, right?

Paul Sporer: Welcome to my weekly chat! Let’s talk some baseball!!!

Kiley: will you really wait in line with me for Franklin’s

Paul Sporer: When we doin it?

zzxzx: I need to activate Wheeler. Who do I drop: Pagan, Eovaldi, C Martin or Bummer. I have a tenuous grasp on 1st place and there’s a cluster of teams with similar Saves as me. Thank you!

Paul Sporer: I’d probably get rid of Martin

Kiley: don’t tease me bro

Brad Johnson: We’ll get started in a few moments.

Nathan: I’m on the cusp. Should I go for it?

Brad Johnson: I’m generally pro always going for it. But then sometimes I don’t follow my own advice.

Al Gone Quinn: So you think a $7 Jasson Dominguez is too expensive, based on your Discord forum comment? The man has 2 S’s in his name. Worth the money.

Brad Johnson: This is specifically related to ottoneu where any prospect over $1 is questionable.

Brad Johnson: Dominguez is a years and years from the majors

Brad Johnson: We’ll get started in a few moments.

Seeds: Brad, are you buying Tyler Beede’s newfound slider as the missing piece to make him a contributor down the stretch?

Brad Johnson: There’s a lot I’m buying about Tyler Beede, but the missing piece is command. Pure and simple.

Brad Johnson: And I’m not sure that’s really improved all that much lately – it’s hard to tell. You know the drill, small sample sizes and such.

Brad Johnson: I’m comfortable labeling him as at least a good reliever right now with potential to also be an interesting SP.

Ryan: Who do you like more RoS in a standard 5×5, Hiura, or Scooter?

Jeff Zimmerman: Sorry for the delay, I lost track of time.

Paul Sporer: Hellllooo!! Welcome to my weekly chat. The All-Star break is officially over and it’s time for the second half!

Slamboni: AL only roto keeper: I’m in it this year but my pitching is hot trash. Guy offered me good keeper cost Berrios and Cole for very expensive Trout. My offense is pretty set…. Is that crazy?

Paul Sporer: Not crazy at all. That’s two aces in an AL Only and completely addresses your biggest need. That’s a yes for me

Guest: Al only roto Phegley or Roberto Perez

Paul Sporer: I’d lean Perez

Guest: Think Carrasco is back to 100% for next year?
