Brad Johnson: An announcement: for fans of the old version of The Daily Grind (streaming picks), I’ve brought back that format. It’ll be attached to the end of The Daily Grind and will be called Streaming Wars. https://www.patreon.com/posts/19980968

Brad Johnson: Now, onto your business.

Kershnaw?: What kind of haul would you be looking to get back for Kershaw in a 12 team keep forever dynasty? Machado, Bryant, Harper types or 2/3 solid pieces

Brad Johnson: I would be using Kershaw and whatever I needed to include to target elite players.

Brad Johnson: Can’t directly acquire a Harper, but Kershaw+a Votto could maybe get a young stud.

Buff: Are you a believer in Zac Eflin?

Justin Mason: Been up all night! Let’s go! Let’s have a great chat today! Just a reminder that I will answer as many questions as I can, but please don’t repeat questions. If I can’t get to your questions then hit me up on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100008744507752 or on twitter @justinmasonfwfb.

Vic: How confident are you that T. Hildenberger secures the closer job for the Twinkies next year?

Justin Mason: Not confident at all. They went out this off season and grabbed two guys in free agency. What’s to think they won’t do that again?

Vic: Does Bradley Zimmer continue to disappoint like Buxton?

Justin Mason: I think it is a bit early to call that one. I still believe in Zimmer long term.

Ichiro: Feelings on Enyel De Los Santos..? Will be up for awhile and worth an add in a keeper dynasty?

Jeff Zimmerman: Welcome this week. I didn’t have time to run the FAAB reports from Tout Wars

Rob: Whos the guy to grab if Chapman is injured:  Robertson or Betances?

Jeff Zimmerman: Betances

Jeff Zimmerman: and follow our bullpen report for the latest news: https://www.fangraphs.com/fantasy/bullpen-report-july-8-2018/

Jake Junis Priest: Even without a lot of K’s, Frankie Montas has a solid FIP. Should I keep holding/playing match-ups in AL Only? Thanks!

Jeff Zimmerman: Sure in AL-only. He might be a must own in that format

Paul Sporer: Hello everybody! Check out the new SP ranks – https://www.fangraphs.com/fantasy/july-starting-pitcher-rankings/ — and feel free to ask any questions about them (or anything else!)

Jack: Pick one RoS in a league that punishes HRs significantly: Godley or Samardzija.

Paul Sporer: I’ll go Godley because he’s actually shown a modicum of HR suppression recently (last yr)

Bruce: How are you feeling about car mart?? He had a stretch where he dropped 21 walks

Paul Sporer: Yes, that was right off the DL (and he mentioned trying to dial it down to protect himself shortly after returning), so I’m not as concerned as I might be if it was out of nowhere. He’s been better the last two times out and I think he’s feeling better.

Good Steve: What are you expecting from DeJong the rest of the way? Is he a top 10 SS option ROS?

Jeff Zimmerman: As normal, I will answer all waiver wire and FAAB questions. Including as much league and team, context is desirable.

Jeff Zimmerman: Here are the FAAB bids from the two 15-team Tout Wars mixed leagues this week:

Paul Sporer: It’s Friday afternoon, time to talk some baseball!!

RJ: Kyle Tucker or Eloy Jimenez — better production (2018 only)??

Paul Sporer: I’ll go Tucker. He’s got the speed aspect and CWS might just leave Eloy down until a Sept. call up

BigTuna: How worried are you about Springer? 4 for his last 54

Paul Sporer: 0%?

David’s Peralta: What is going on with Tommy Pham? Are we still fans?

Justin Mason: Hey everyone! Let’s have a great chat today! Just a reminder that I will answer as many questions as I can, but please don’t repeat questions. Von Hayes: Any idea what is wrong with Carlos Martinez? Any chance he is still hurt?

Justin Mason: I think they may have rushed him back a bit. I hope he is just still building up arm strength and not hurting, but I did trade him recently in Tout.

Wig: Hiya Justin… would you trade Vlady Jr for Albies?

Justin Mason: If I was competing this year I would for sure.

Kiermaier’s Dashing Good Looks: What is your outlook on the Yankees rotation once Tanaka gets healthy enough to return? Will a tough decision have to be made between German and Lasagna or do you potentially see a 6 man rotation?

Vegan Man!: What are you doing with Jon Gray and Castillo in 12 team leagues? Benching or dropping? Thanks!

Brad Johnson: Playing matchups. Definitely not dropping. Gray is actually top 10 SP by FIP WAR

Brad Johnson: Oh, hello everyone

Brad Johnson: Greetings and such

Brad Johnson: Onward

Julian H.: Been offered Verlander for Ohtani in a keep forever h2h pts league. I’ve got a top contending team. I love Ohtani and am anguishing over this. Talk to me.
