Paul Sporer: Hey y’all thanks for coming out!! I’m not sure what kinda volume we’ll get, but wanted to be here for anyone who has last second questions coming down the stretch!

GF: Hi Paul, no question Just want to thank you for everything you do! Loved reading your stuff and listening to the pod. Can’t wait for next season!

Paul Sporer: Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!

clydethedog: NL Keeper 5 x 5 roto, should I be trying to trade for Corbin Carroll in the offseason? I would most likely have to slightly overpay since none of my league mates like to trade

Paul Sporer: I think he’s one of the most consistent guys out there, so I’m definitely ok chasing him!

Gregg: Do you care about the new Tiger’s stadium name or does that stuff not bother you?

Jeff Zimmerman: Welcome.

Jeff Zimmerman: Here are the winning bids for the two 15-team Tout Wars redraft leagues.

Jeff Zimmerman:

fyek276: Hi Jeff just want to say thank you for your articles and chats this year.

Jeff Zimmerman: You’re welcome

fyek276: can you rank this options with regards to protecting ratios: ray, peterson, bassitt and foster griffin?

Paul Sporer: Hey y’all thanks for coming out! Can’t believe the season is almost over, feels like we just got going!

didge003: Hey Paul – thanks so much for all of your help this season. In the championship this week, H2H fairly standard scoring but W/L values are a little more extreme (+7.5 W, -5 L). I’ve got 6 SP slots left this week and Skubal going Sunday, can you rank who would be your remaining 5 based on the following options? Gore (@ BOS), Prielipp (@LAA), Cantillo (ATH), Detmers (MIN), Webb (@LAD – though rumored to maybe be done), Melton (@CWS), Lopez (@CLE), Alcantara (@SD). Thanks!

Paul Sporer: Ok so Detmers is a stone cold lock with Skubes. So 5 slots left and holy shit is this whole group besides those 2 strugglinggg of late. They all have 5.40 ERAs or higher over the L30 days, that’s crazy! I love Melton but he seems a bit gassed and yet I might still end with him. Webb is one up, one down patter over his L6 which isn’t bankable, but he is due for a goodie if it were to hold, but like you said could be done. Plus he gets LAD.

So I think I’d go with Prielipp, Sandy, Gore, ReyLo, and then Cantillo v. Melton for the last spot. Maybe just chase the W with Cantillo since ATH sucks and hope he gets an opener like he did his last time out. EDIT TO ADD: LEADERBOARD

dirtypuer: as the season wraps I just wanted to thank you for all of your thoughtful responses in this chat and help this year!

Paul Sporer: Happy to help! I really appreciate y’all coming out weekly for these, they truly don’t exist without y’all and I’m glad my opinion is valued enough to do these!

NicklePickers: The season is so long but so short!

Jeff Zimmerman: Welcome

Jeff Zimmerman:

Jeff Zimmerman: Here are the winning bids in the two 15-team Tout Wars redraft leagues.

Jason Durkee: Given what you know about the Jesus Luzardo injury, would you start him this week or best to avoid?

Jeff Zimmerman: Where possible, I’m sitting

Rollie’s Mustache: In today’s report you noted that Cristian Javier is “iffy” to make his Sunday start during the final week. Is that due to the Astros needing him on normal rest for a potential Wild Card series or do you have other intel?

Jeff Zimmerman: Welcome

Jeff Zimmerman: My kid got a cold from school starting, so now I have the same cold. I’m doped up and hopefully will make it the whole hour tonight

Jeff Zimmerman: Here are the winning bids in the two 15-team redraft Tout Wars teams.

Jeff Zimmerman:

Uncle Stevie: Where would gelof and Larry butler rank amongst the hitters in your article today?

Jeff Zimmerman: At the top, they are way better than the players I listed.

Paul Sporer: Good afternoon, y’all, thanks for coming out!!

yochuckie: Two possibly three weeks remaining in the fantasy season/playoffs. Does Julio Rodriguez get an opportunity to make up some ground in his supposed second half extravaganza or is he just who he is? A healthy version of LuBob?

Paul Sporer: Yeah we didn’t get our normal elite JRod in the second half. After a huge May, it looked like maybe he was gonna finally get a monster season top to bottom, but that turned out to be his only good one. A .250 2H BABIP is really holding him back. He’s one of those stars who isn’t meeting expectations but is still too good to take outta the lineup in most situations

MD: Looks like Fried/Warren piggybacking this week after a short outing last week. Weekly league, you rolling with him next week (NYM), or would you take Bennet (LAA) or even Painter (HOU, @ATL)?

Paul Sporer: Over your Fried you’re saying?

Paul Sporer: I’d probably lean Bennett straight up for this week, especially since Fried will likely get the frontend and not be eligible for the W

Jeff Zimmerman: Welcome

Jeff Zimmerman: Here are the winning bids in the two 15-team Tout Wars redraft leagues.

Jeff Zimmerman:

fyek276: hi jeff tnx as always. who do you project to be better ROS, carrigg or p. ramirez?

Jeff Zimmerman: Carrigg, lots of home games.

fyek276: john peck any good?

Paul Sporer: Hey y’all thanks for coming out!

JoeG414: 12T deep daily roto.  Need to drop one : Vladdy or Royce Lewis ? TY

Paul Sporer: *gulp* Can’t believe this is a legit question… but it is and I’m goin with Vlad Jr. as the cut. Royce at least has 13 HR/SB on the year

Gregg: If you had to make a call today, what would you guess the order of these SPs to be on ADP in 2027: Tolle, Harrison, Cavalli, Ashcraft, Henderson

Paul Sporer: I think your listed order is very close. I’d probably put Henderson above Ashcraft!

hayz11: Looking forward to 2027, what level of confidence would you have in Jackson Merrill? He’s on pace to set career highs in most counting stats all while having by far his worst offensive season.
