12:00

Justin Mason: France

12:00

Domingo Ayala: I let go of PCA coming into the year and my question is how many years of therapy will I need to recover?

12:00

Domingo Ayala: (It’s a keeper league)

12:00

Justin Mason: 4-5.

12:00

Justin Mason: Point awarded

12:01

Justin Mason: and my condolences.

12:01

phillyg: just lost my playoffs by 1 Run because my opponent decided to Drop Soto in a keeper league and start Wade Meckler yesterday, how would you go about contracting a deal with the devil for this to happen

12:01

Justin Mason: I’m pretty sure the devil went down to georgia, so I would start there.

12:01

Justin Mason: Point awarded

12:02

Justin Mason: This also happened to me in a 20 team dyansty league years ago were Gregor Blanco scored four runs on the final day to cost me my championship. It was brutal and I spent years tweeting about it.

12:02

yochuckie: Can Lazaro Montes be everything we hoped Julio Rodriguez once could be?

12:02

Justin Mason: I don’t think he has the type of hit tool that will be good enough to reach the type of player J-Rod is or can be.

12:03

Nicholas: I have to drop one sp for playoffs; Max Fried (worried about injury) Kade Anderson, Ian Seymour or Mahle. Thanks!

12:03

Justin Mason: It’s between Seymour and Mahle for me. I would lean Mahle.

12:03

daveypingpong: Vlad at 1B heading into the playoffs in 12 team standard H2H. Keeper league so not going to drop him, but want to bench him. Who do you like off waivers: Josh Bell, Alec Bohm, Coby Mayo, Vinnie Pasquantino, Bryce Eldridge?

12:03

Justin Mason: Vinny P

12:03

Termz: weekly h2h categories league playoff week!..for 2nd ..Mayo, Norby, Pedro Ramirez or Holiday? And rank 2 steps Woo, Kirby, Rogers or Gore for this week. Thank you!!

12:04

Justin Mason: I’ll take Norby for Coors.

Kirby, Woo, Rogers, Gore

12:04

Ragbrai: It seemed that Weaver at one time might be Pitts closer ROS and possibly next. Is that still possible?

12:04

Justin Mason: Feels like they want to go with Montgomery

12:05

murphsbaby: Hey Justin! Championship week in my league. 8 points for a win, 5 for QS, 1 for K, -1 for earned baserunner and -2 for earned run. Should I start Hunter Brown at home against the White Sox or Alcantara at Kansas City?

12:05

Justin Mason: Alcantara

12:05

MD: After the short outing last week, you braving Fried (@SD) or looking more towards Bennet (@BAL) or Painter (@ARI)?

12:05

Justin Mason: I think I would still roll with Fried, but Painter is tempting

12:06

jimleylandpalmer: In week 2 of 3 week playoff ending 9/13. Need to cut one of these hitters to activate Roman Anthony: Carson Benge or Manny Machado. Purely interested in the next two weeks, who is your cut?

12:06

Justin Mason: Anthony

12:06

_David_: In a 10 team league with 23 man rosters and keeper cost+inflation, I found a Nick Kurtz that someone dropped. Should I jettison 9 players to keep him?

12:06

Justin Mason: 9 players?! I want to pick up Kurtz, but 9 seems like a lot.

12:07

beyou02215: I have a need….a (big) need or speed.  Any high-availability guys that you would recommend?  Thanks!

12:08

AU86: J Wood being activated 9/1.  Who would you drop – G Torres, M McLain, C Montgomery, Z Gelof?

12:08

Justin Mason: McLain

12:08

Philip Christy: Been switching between JDuran and BMarsh for my CF position, and they both have been awful. Should I just stick WJenkins in there this week, 2nd round of the playoffs??? Points league and it seems like he’s playing everyday

12:08

Justin Mason: I would

12:08

AU86: 2 catcher league – pls rank ROS: Ruiz, Flores, Ballesteros

12:09

Justin Mason: Flores, Ballesteros, Ruiz

12:09

Brian Burns: Hello Jason, need saves and K’s, doing fine on ERA and WHIP…should I drop Joyce or J. Martinez for K. Jansen?

12:09

Justin Mason: I’m fine with that.

12:09

JoeG414: Starting Ketel Marte tonight in his return ?

12:09

Justin Mason: I am

12:09

jt1229: Hi, Thanks for all your help this year, last week of season, must win for me and need a loss from team ahead to make playoffs, 14 tm 6×6 h2h cats with 7 start max, I have my 7 starts lined up, my question is in case Seymour is set up as a bulk reliever this week again I open up 2 more starts, rank my choices: Lambert vc CHW, Nola @ARI, Jump @TEX, Weneski vs CHW or J. Lopez @ TEX

12:10

Justin Mason: Nola, Lopez, Wesneski, Lambert, Jump

12:10

jt1229: a month ago I decided to sell since playoffs odds seemed short (I am currently 1 game out of playoffs aftert he sell off with a week to go), grade my trade, 3 keepers per team where you have to give up the draft pick of rd where player was chosen, I gave up M. Olsen & T. Scott and received N. Kurtz (2nd rd) & J. Caglianone (17th rd)

12:10

Justin Mason: love it. A-

12:10

seymour114: Any insight into W Contreras and his hammy? Can’t take a zero but would need to make a hard drop – probably Joyce which isn’t bad this round but which would hurt me in round 2.

12:11

Justin Mason: Sounded precautionary because they were down 6. I believe he is expected to be fine

12:11

AU86: QS and K/9 format (redraft): please rank – Z Matthews, Preilipp, G Rodriguez, Alvarez (WAS), Liberatore

12:11

Justin Mason: Matthews, Alvarez, Liberatore, Preilipp, Rodriguez.

12:11

seymour114: Scared of starting Neto (or any Angels) this week? He has some rough matchups.

12:12

Justin Mason: I’m not scared to start Neto

12:13

jt1229: way too early but worth a shot, since i may not make playoffs (i need a win and team ahead of me to lose to make it) i am starting my planning for next season, can you rank the following players on a keeper status, i have to give up draft pick of rd where player was chosen, i have a choice to make with 2nd rd pick as you can see: Wood (4th rd), Kurtz (2nd rd), Skenes (2nd rd), Cole (13th rd), Eury (9th rd) Cags (17th rd) Langford (6th rd)

12:13

Justin Mason: Wood, Kurtz, Cole, Cags, Eury

12:14

Kyle O’Brien: Any concern with McLean’s walk rate over the second half? It’s jumped to nearly 4/9 over the last two months. Is this just fatigue for a young pitcher?

12:17

Justin Mason: A little concern. Zone rate is down 3% and the pitches are not as sharp. Stuff is down a little. Might just be fatigue, but something to keep an eye on down the stretch

12:18

NicklePickers: Is the Big Dumper fixed? Him or Jeffers ROS? (OBP league)

12:19

Justin Mason: I don’t think he’s completely fixed, but I am starting him whereever I can right now

12:19

NicklePickers: Got suckered into holding Heliot Ramos last night after he finally hit a homer. They get a lefty today, but then righties all week. Will I regret this decision or can he break out of the ss platoon situation?

12:19

Justin Mason: I dont think he will be more than a short side guy in New York

12:19

wrongdog5: Does James Wood actually play this week (aside from today)?

12:19

Justin Mason: I believe he does

12:19

jackiechiles: Did you get your AC fixed?

12:19

Justin Mason: I did! Thank god!

12:19

InsertWittyNameHere: What’s the earliest you’ve seen the league winner be 100% confident they’re winning that year?

12:20

Justin Mason: I have seen in mid august people being pretty confident they are locked in. I’ve also blown massive leads in August and Septmeber, so I play it hard until the final day.

12:20

bruno: Manaea wearing out? Would you use him at TB tomorrow or avoid?

12:20

Justin Mason: I would avoid personally

12:20

David Chenok: Vlad…grrrr.  ROS, OBP league, who do you prefer, Vlad or Eddie Gaedel?

12:20

Justin Mason: Gaedel lol

12:20

Justin Mason: Point awarded

12:21

NicklePickers: Hi! Keeper question: Bednar $12 (1 year), Jeffers $6 (2 years)- AL Only, OBP 2C league. Thanks!

12:21

Justin Mason: Bednar

12:21

jackiechiles: Good morning Justin! I’m in a 14 team mixed OBP league and I need a SS. I’m rolling with J Ortiz RN but I’m looking to upgrade. Carrig, Gunnar H & Culpepper are the best options on the wire. Who would you take for ROS, or would you mix & match? Thanks!

12:21

Justin Mason: Gunnar

12:21

Brian Burns: 5×5 roto 11T OBP keeper, in first place but need runs, rbi’s and sb’s, drop Bohm or H. Hernandez for Norby this week.

12:21

Justin Mason: Bohm

12:21

docgooden85: Is this the order of starting preference for my 2 start options (roto)?  Boyd > Wesneski > Burke > big gap > Bradish @ COL/@BOS > Jobe?

12:21

Justin Mason: That looks right to me.

12:22

NicklePickers: Strategy question: in an AL Only league with daily moves and a 3 man bench, I have a lineup of mostly regulars. Is it silly to have a bat on the bench for the occasional day off/injury (currently Heliot Ramos) instead of using all 3 slots to spam relievers? My ratios need help.

12:22

Justin Mason: id rather have the relievers if I need the ratios

12:22

Ross B: 12T H2H (W, SV, ERA, WHIP, K/9, BB, QS): this week I have NO 2 start pitchers. I have Sale, Wheeler, Yamamoto, Rasmussen, Snell, Ashcraft, J Lopez. No IP limit concerns for the week, just wondering do I sit any of these guys, pick up any spot starters, or just trust my staff?

12:23

Justin Mason: I am trusting this staff

12:23

wrongdog5: In a 14-team, one-catcher, keep-forever league, who would you rather keep for next year Jeffers or Will Smith? Thanks!

12:23

Justin Mason: Smith

12:23

Ragbrai: My relief pitchers have not picked a save or hold for over two weeks. Thinking of changing team name to No Holds Barred.

12:23

Justin Mason: Point awarded

12:23

wrongdog5: Would you rather start Imanaga this week or put Bryce Miller in that slot, knowing he’s pitching out of the pen, and hope he gets a hold or a win?

12:23

Justin Mason: Imanaga

12:23

docgooden85: Will Bradish be Goodish ROS & next year or more…Baddish?

12:24

Justin Mason: I have no idea what to make of him. I need to do a deep dive after the season. I would lean Baddish but I want to believe there is still hope

12:24

NicklePickers: I don’t know if it’s the CTE stuff, the state of my Washington Commies, or what, but I’m finding myself less excited about the coming NFL season than usual. Should I quit watching (feels correct ethically) or dive in and let the inevitable NFL current take me away (my usual course)?

12:25

Justin Mason: As a Commanders fan, I feel the same way. I will still watch but I dont have the same passion for it that I used to.

12:25

showbusiness77: Fantasy Baseball Team Name update: you liked Schmitty bang bang over Shoh me your OH-Face. Since Casey Schmitt was dropped we changed to “Schlitt’s G(r)ay” complete with photo of Adam Sandler and Chris Farley fawning over male hotties at the pool.

12:25

Justin Mason: Love it

12:25

Justin Mason: Point awarded

12:25

NicklePickers: Trade deadline tonight. AL Only, OBP. Could make one last move and deal a keepable Jeffers for Raleigh and Pasquatch. Tight in homers, but the addition would push Royce Lewis to my bench. Worth it, or let it ride with Royce?

12:25

Justin Mason: I’d do that

12:25

seymour114: Shallow Cats league – my opponent’s pitching out classes mine (He has J. Miz, Cease, Yoshi, Snell, McLean among others) but he only runs starters. I can load up on 2-start guys and get 16 starts to his 12 in week 1 (deGrom, Harrison, Seymour, Holmes, Taj, Woo, Burke, plus Schilitter and Gilbert and Mason Miller for the save). Or I could try to run out only Miller, Cade Smith, Schilitter, and Gilbert to get the saves, and great ERA/WHIP then bench them all week 2. I’ve got to try to go for volume, right?

12:27

Justin Mason: I would probably go the reliever route and just sweep the ratios and saves.

12:27

nrbg27: if bryce miller is indeed back as a starter wednedsay, he may also get two starts next week.  Would you start him over Jacob Lopez and Christian Scott?

12:27

Justin Mason: I wouldnt

12:27

seymour114: Had a guy in a cats league go 17-2 in the regular season and then lose in the championship.

12:28

Justin Mason: This is the downside to H2H. I was in a home H2H league for years and won six straight season titles and never won a championship in the playoffs. It’s why I play mostly roto nowadays.

12:28

nrbg27: Are you starting Elly this week or if he’s not in today’s lineup plug in someone like Willi Castro who has a Coors six pack?

12:28

Justin Mason: Reports are good that he will be ok, so im starting him

12:29

BaseballBeerBrats: Have you seen Burke’s pitching performances lately. Looks like he’s regressed to last years version! Will he figure it out again?

12:29

Justin Mason: he has done this already this season and bounced back, so I have some faith he can again. The problem is there isn’t a lot of time to do so in the season, so I dont blame you if you move on.

12:29

Scotty G: 16 team H2H QS league, is it worth stashing Musgrove and/or Pivetta for a potential start in a fantasy playoff matchup next week?

12:30

Justin Mason: probably not

12:30

JoeG414: Drop Dustin May for A.Painter ? 12T Roto

12:30

Justin Mason: I would for sure

12:30

Scotty G: OBP league, could you rank these SS options for next week’s playoff matchup: Clemens, Carrigg, Culpepper, Donovan

12:30

Justin Mason: Donovan, Clemens, Culpepper, Carrigg

12:30

Salty: What do you think the Cubs save breakdown will be the rest of the way Webb vs Valencia?  Either at more than 70%?

12:30

Justin Mason: I think Webb gets about a 60/40 splt

12:30

sactown 2: Would you throw Jobe today in a QS h2h cat. league?

12:31

Justin Mason: I am risking it a few leagues. I think the talent is worth it.

12:31

jamield: good afternoon Justin!  any thoughts on Sonny Gray?  I have 2 week playoff matchup, and counting on him for 3 (now 2?) starts.

12:32

Justin Mason: I am a tad bit concerned, but the fact they aren’t putting him on the IL is encouraging enough for me to roll with him.

12:32

jt1229: rank C choices this week and into possible playoffs: Jeffers, Stephenson or Basallo

12:32

Justin Mason: Jeffers, Basallo, Stephenson

12:32

sactown 2: Best 3rd baseman to spell M. Muncy(LAD), Durbin, CES, Pedro Ramírez or Antonacci. Best overall player

12:33

Justin Mason: CES

12:33

jackiechiles: Justin! Thanks for doing these..they’re very helpful! 14 team mixed…can you rank these pitchers ROS? Wesneski, Lambert, J Bennett, Zebby M and C Scott. Do any of these guys stand out to you, good or bad? Thanks!

12:33

Justin Mason: Scott, Zebby, Bennett, Wesneski, Lambert

12:33

wrongdog5: Keep forever at no cost league: Could you please rank these pitchers for next year? I want to keep three of the four. Imanaga, Trevor Rogers, C. Scott, or Bryce Miller? Thanks!

12:33

Justin Mason: Scott, Rogers, Imanaga, Miller

12:34

murphsbaby: I have noticed Fangraphs has Griffin Jax slated to start this week, thereby pushing back Freddy Peralta so he is only starting once. Do you have any insight about Jax or is this more likely an error?

12:34

Justin Mason: It looks like he will be back this week, but they just need to figure out where to slot him back in the rotation.

12:35

AU86: re: Quantrill…what has led to his effectiveness the last few starts?  random luck?  pitch mix?  delivery?  He seems like a different pitcher

12:36

Justin Mason: Seems like more random luck. Has attacked the zone more, but the stuff is still not very good.

12:36

sactown 2: In A 10t h2h redraft with s/h’s who would you pickup-Montgomery, G. Taylor, Iglesias, Fuentes or Ashby. Everything matters regarding ratios. Thanks

12:36

Justin Mason: Montgomery

12:36

jt1229: whats the better matchup this week where pitching categories are: ERA, WHIP, K, QS and W: Nola @ ARI or E. Perez @ KC

12:36

Justin Mason: Perez, but closer than youd think

12:37

Salty: Was Wells pinch-hit appearance yesterday the best fantasy PH ever?  Come in the 8th inning and get two HRs?  And if you accidentally left him in the lineup, is it mandatory to go and get some Mega-Millions tickets?

12:37

Justin Mason: yeah, if you played him yesterday, go get me a ticket

12:37

Justin Mason: point awarded

12:37

murphsbaby: Follow up to my question about Jax… He hasn’t pitched since 8/23 in Duran during a rehab assignment.

12:38

Justin Mason: He’s been doing simulated games.

12:38

InsertWittyNameHere: Humblebrag to my earlier question: I’ve been confident I’m winning my league on draft day (but seriously probably late July?), so in review of this year, why did so many first rounders flounder?  Aberration or typical baseball?

12:39

Justin Mason: I think it is just baseball. The intereting part is the amount that completely busted. A guy like Tucker just disappearing is an aberration imo

12:39

murphsbaby: If Ketel is activated, would you start him with confidence to play a full slate of games this week?

12:39

Justin Mason: I am starting him. I think they will want to pump his value up as much as possible

12:39

Scotty G: Is Will Warren good again? Would you drop Christian Scott or Sean Burke to pick him up? Warren has SD and NYM his next two starts

12:41

Justin Mason: Looked much better in the last start, but not so much before that in spite of the results. I would be open to switching Burke for him

12:41

Brablc: Does Leo Bernal have any semi-regular playing time at Catcher for NL Only teams next year? Pretty consistent hitter and defense supposed to be good.

12:42

Justin Mason: I think he could but the Cardinals are a little deep at catcher so I almost think they need to move someone like Crooks or Bernal

12:42

Ragbrai: Our trade deadline in 11 team 23 man roster NL 5×5 is always the Sunday after MLB’s. Is that too early or about right. After the deadline it is hard to improve your team if someone is a United or sent down. All you can do is sit and watch.

12:43

Justin Mason: I think it is too early. I am a fan of having a trade deadline through August to keep people engaged as long as possible especially in a keeper league.

12:43

Scotty G: I’m assuming Cleveland should call up Ralphy Velazquez tomorrow, right? Do you see him getting every day ABs?

12:43

Justin Mason: I think if he is up, he is playing. I expect him to be called up when the rosters expand.

12:43

docgooden85: Montgomery or Joyce for S+H ROS? (Sunday workloads notwithstanding) are you starting either one over Latz or Baker?

12:43

Justin Mason: Montgomery, but I am probably still rolling with Latz and Baker

12:43

Brian Burns: 3B – CES, Norby or Mayo this week?

12:43

Justin Mason: Norby

12:44

GimmeJavyAllDay: 10 Team AL Only – for the stretch run and into the playoffs, drop Torkelson (keepable at 11 next year) or Tommy White for MR depth to secure ratios? Also have Murakami, Contreras at CI. Or hold out hope for Tork to hit his first HR again since July 29 since he’s keepable?

12:44

Justin Mason: Im fine dropping White.

12:44

jt1229: been trotting out Riley for most of season at 3B (acquired Riley via trade for M. King in week 6 when i was selling high on King and a genius) 🙁 we are not at the last week of season, are any of the following worth a shot or ride it out: R. Lewis, J. Lawlar or A. Vaughn on days he does play

12:44

Justin Mason: I am probably riding it out

12:45

Joel Warger: Vinnies P or D Lile this week? 12 team standard 5×5

12:45

Justin Mason: Vinny P

12:45

docgooden85: Dropping Bryce Miller last night in a 12 teamer:  rage-based self-own, or why did it take me so long?

12:45

Justin Mason: why did it take you so long

12:45

Scotty G: I’m trying to protect ratios. What’s your confidence level in George Kirby at Fenway today?

12:45

Justin Mason: I feel pretty good about him today

12:45

docgooden85: I got Jenkins unopposed in a 12 teamer. I guess everyone really has switched to football.

12:45

Justin Mason: it is that time of year where people officially tune out for football

12:45

jackiechiles: What Is your expectation for Hector Rodriguez ROS? The power is enticing…is he going to make enough contact?

12:46

Justin Mason: I think he will make enough contact, but the aggressiveness will lead to streakiness.

12:46

showbusiness77: two streaming pitchers to win our league here in last finals week. H2H points ESPN: Bassitt, Ober, Ranger, Rocker, Montero, Fedde, springs, Junk,  Jared jones. TY

12:47

Justin Mason: Ranger and Jones

12:47

Jon Tayler: Chasing wins with streamers in roto, how would you rank these options this week? Bennet @ BAL, Warren @ SDP, Scherzer @ KC, Burke @ HOU, Thornton vs SF, Lauer vs STL

12:48

Justin Mason: Bennett, Lauer, Warren, Scherzer, Bruke, Thornton

12:48

Scotty G: Any interest in Davis Martin when he comes back?

12:48

Justin Mason: Not really

12:48

CarMars Favorite: Is Ohtani due for an actual Dodger’s style Ineffective List stint to reset his bat?

12:48

Justin Mason: I cant imagine they do

12:48

AU86: OBP league – G Torres or Edman ROS?

12:48

Justin Mason: Edman

12:48

Paulie_Eff: Palencia and Y Gomez just destroyed my H2H pitching stats last week.  I have the BYE in the playoffs this current week and wondered if I should drop these two for a couple of solid Holds guys instead?  We play S+Hds.

12:48

Justin Mason: I probably wouldnt, but I understand if you do.

12:49

sactown 2: Are you holding May or drop for poassible streamers?

12:49

Justin Mason: streamers

12:49

morganconrad: Norby, Willi Castro (both home this week) Butler or Heriberto Hernandez ROS?  Shallow H2H categories league with very limited moves left, so I’d rather not do the obvious stream.

12:49

Justin Mason: Give me Butler and norby

12:49

yochuckie: Not too early to be thinking about next year’s keepers. Please rank. Miz, Harrison, LHenderson (not a bad staff to emulate), Cavalli, Detmers, Painter, Taj, Soriano and last but not least the disappointing since his return from the IL, Ranger Suarez

12:50

Justin Mason: Miz, Harrison, Henderson, Cavalli, Painter, Taj, Detmers, Ranger, Soriano

12:50

NicklePickers: Would you keep either/both Tolle ($18) or Weathers ($6) in AL Only next year?

12:50

Justin Mason: Tolle

12:50

jt1229: who are my OF and UTL for this final week (rank), 6×6 h2h cats (OBP, HR, TB, RBI, R & SB) Wood, Cags, Tucker, Langford, Lile & Jenkins

12:50

Justin Mason: Wood, Cags, Langford, Tucker

12:50

sactown 2: Back on 3rd question-CES or Suarez or Sogard

12:51

Justin Mason: CES

12:51

wenz: 16 team dynasty league with 35-man minor league. Even in a league of that size, is Carson Williams droppable? I hate to give up on someone who was so highly rated, but he hasn’t even really been able to hit at AAA this year

12:51

Justin Mason: I think he is borderline. I just dont think the hit tool is good enough and that matters a lot to Tampa

12:51

Greg Pope: Which FAAB pickup from last night for this week? Ryan Gusto 2 step (at WAS, CHC) or Elmer Rodgriguez (at LAA)?

12:51

Justin Mason: Elmer

12:51

Joel Warger: Thank you! You’re the Best in the Biz

12:51

Justin Mason: Thank you! I love these chats

12:51

Justin Mason: Out of questions! Send me more

12:52

jamield: Naylor or stowers ROS 12 team h2h mixed

12:52

Justin Mason: Naylor

12:53

Ragbrai: Drop Sunger and Manaea for RP to protect ERA and WHIP?

12:53

Justin Mason: I am good with that

12:53

trashpanda: Can you rank Wheeler v ATL, Eury @KC, Burns v MIL, Detmers v. NYY? First two guys have been scaring me lately. (Chasing QS and K)

12:53

Justin Mason: Wheeler, Burns, Eury, Detmers

12:53

Ragbrai: Waldschmidt keepable at $17 in NL 5×5 ?

12:53

Justin Mason: seems like a lot

12:54

jamield: h2h pts weighted to IP and Ks- is Kade Anderson a viablw starter ROS?

12:54

Justin Mason: I think he can be. There is risk though

12:54

Jon Tayler: Looking ahead to keepers (OBP roto, auction w/$260 cap + 4 keepers), how would you rank these options: Wetherholt ($10), Otto Lopez ($6), Nolan McLean ($11), Kyle Harrison ($6), Burleson ($8), Luzardo ($20) – already keeping Cade Smith for $11

12:55

Justin Mason: Luzardo, Harrision, Wetherholt, McLean, Burleson, Lopez

12:55

Ragbrai: Bregman kerpable at $23? Finishing strong it seems.

12:55

Justin Mason: Depends on the size of league and other options

12:55

Robert: Had a deal on the table for James Wood (pre injury) keepable at 19 (with 2 round inflation every year), Yesavage, and Walcott for Miz (1, Schwarber (not keepable), Konnor Griffin (13), Bednar (NK), and one other reliever. Couldn’t pull the trigger because of Wood’s value in the future and our team being easily the best at the time. Guy ends up dealing to the other competitive team. How badly did we screw up (we just got knocked out of the playoffs)

12:56

Justin Mason: That’s tough, but I think I would have done it.

12:56

docgooden85: Benching any of these over Jenkins this week (OBP roto)?  Bleday, Gelof, Angel Martinez

12:57

Justin Mason: I could start him over Bleday

12:57

Ragbrai: Winn assuming back this week or Roberts ROS? Does he stay in NY?

12:57

Justin Mason: Roberts. I think he ends up somewhere else next year

12:57

epc2188: Tawa or Pedro Ramirez for next week (bye this week)

12:57

Justin Mason: Tawa

12:57

sactown 2: Best streamers this week-Mize@CIN, Roupp @PIT, Scott @TB,Sandoval vs SEA, Jobe @MIN. Thanks

12:58

Justin Mason: Scott, Mize, Sandoval, Roupp, Jobe

12:58

Ragbrai: Is Dion a SP next year and should I care?

12:58

Justin Mason: probably but I dont care much

12:58

jt1229: thanks for all of your help this season, hopefully next week i get to tell you i made the playoffs and need strategy for that, if not more questions about next season

12:58

Justin Mason: Good luck!

12:58

Ragbrai: Bregman at 23 was for NL 5×5 11 team league.

12:58

Justin Mason: Seems like that is doable

12:58

trashpanda: How long before we call Mason Montgomery elite? He been downright Mason Miller-esque with a 50 K% in the second half and only 7 BB%.? Thanks as always for the chats!

12:59

Justin Mason: I think he is elite

12:59

sactown 2: Stremer for Coors-Beaver, CES, Cowser, Blaze Rumfield or Carrigg. Rockies throwing all RH’s. Balt.

12:59

Justin Mason: CES

12:59

Ragbrai: LA closer next year?

12:59

Justin Mason: Diaz

12:59

Scotty G: It’s mid-March 2027, a CBA deal is not imminent, if you’re the league comissioner, are you waiting until there is a firm date for Opening Day before scheduling drafts?

12:59

Justin Mason: I am if I can

Is Mason Montgomery the most underrated RP? Last 28 days….10 ip , 20 k’s, 1 bb, 0.00 era. Do you see him as a premier RP in 2027 or will the team hold him back?
thanks
