: Gotta keep it to about 30 min today so let’s roll!! |
| 3:34 |
: Is it time to sell low on Kyle Hendricks? |
| 3:34 |
: It’s 2 great and 2 bad starts, I’m not selling |
| 3:34 |
: where do you get your ideas from? |
| 3:36 |
: To write about? All sorts of different places. Just persuing leaderboards, watching games, seeing some stat on Quick Pitch that spurs me to look deeper… just consumption of baseball stuff in general. I keep a notes app file of ideas that pop into my head randomly. Sometimes, though, I stare at a blank Word doc for an hour-plus |

: Are you a believer in Civale? |
My computer won’t power up (yes I blew on it Yants) so no chat. I’ll try answering questions on Twitter (@jeffwzimmerman) from 7:30 to 830 cst works. -Jeff

: Hey Jeff, when looking to stream pitchers, is there a specific metric or two you use to evaluate the streamers opponents? Not sure how to gauge opposing offenses from a fantasy perspective. thanks.

: I use Razzball’s weekly streamers: https://razzball.com/streamers-nextweek/

|
| 7:36 |
: I’m not interested at all but I missed the start to see if he did anything different
|
| 7:31 |
: The focus of the chat will be FAAB and Waiver Wire questions. If I get through them, I’ll answer other questions.

: Entering our final big weekend of drafts, let’s roll! |
| 1:04 |
: How much should the Gallen injury “tank” his ADP? |
| 1:05 |
: If the league has IL spots, I’ll take a 5-6 round discount, but he’s basically off my board in NFBC-style leagues where you only get the 7 reserves. I just don’t like putting already injured pitchers on my teams |
| 1:05 |
: Hello Sporer |
| 1:05 |
: Yo! |
| 1:06 |
: Is he a top ten C in OBP leagues? |
| 11:01 |
: Let’s start. I may not be up-to-date on all the news. I’ve had a lot going on in my life but will help in any way I can.
|
| 11:01 |
: Tim Anderson’s last 2 years of extremely high bapip legit?
|
| 11:03 |
: He’s the type of player to post them. GBs with speed, but no one has ever been at this level over a long stretch. If he keeps it up, he’ll be the first.
|
| 11:03 |
: Pick two prospect stashes for this year: Spencer Howard, Edward Cabrera, Corbin Martin, Matthew Liberatore.
|
| 11:03 |
: Howard and Martin
|
| 11:04 |
: Do you have a favorite sleeper reliever? The best one I got in my h2h points draft was Matt Barnes, though I’m thinking I can steal someone from the waiver wire soon.

: Hello everyone, let’s talk some baseball!! |
| 2:01 |
: Points league – How would you rank Sal Perez, Contreras, Will Smith, Grandal? I’m mostly trying to project who will be in the lineup the most because they all feel similar. |
| 2:03 |
: I’d definitely run it through the Auction Calculator w/y’all’s settings. I agree they are close. If Ks count negative, I might lean toward Contreras/Salvy. If BBs also count and negate the Ks, go Grandal |
| 2:03 |
: Thanks for the Chat! Who do you like making the most impact this year: Gore, Gilbert or Kopech? |
| 2:04 |
: Thanks for coming out! I’d lean Gilbert there as I think he gets the biggest opportunity to start of the three. |
| 2:04 |
: Do you expect Shohei to be full tilt in 2021, pitching every 5th game and batting 3-of-4 in-between? |
