Jeff Zimmerman: I think he’s up for the DH. For next week, he will be in another AL park on the weekend

Three Finger Brown: Hi Jeff!  Long time listener, first time caller.  In a weekly points H2H with Wins 8 pt, Saves and QS 6 pt, I have lost Sale and Snell for first half of championship fortnight!  Meh-ish Dylan Floro with six tasty matchups, Carrasco v Phillies, or Carlos Hernandez v A’s?  Thanks for the time today and all season!

Money Mike: It’s playoff time. Are McMahon, Pearson and/or Walsh droppable in a 10-team H2H categories dynasty keeper league?

Jeff Zimmerman: I might keep Walsh in a keeper league.

Al Gone Quinn: Do you take any solace in a second place finish in non money leagues? About to finish 2nd for the 3rd time in 5 years of playing in Ottoneu with my single team. Thought this was the year but my bombers have been fading down the stretch and another team has caught me and will likely beat me with a large innings available advantage.

Jeff Zimmerman: Some, but it sucks to always be second. Maybe add a couple of leagues.

Ethan: What’s the deal with Eloy Jimenez? His hard hit rate is the lowest since the beginning of his rookie career, and he’s been a mess for nearly a month. I need him to hit for the playoffs – or I need to cut him. Roster space is at a premium in this league (weird rules).

Jeff Zimmerman: I think he’s hurt

Ryan: Safe to assume Whitlock gets 3 saves until the end of the season? Or Ottavino/Taylor a better bet?

Jeff Zimmerman: Maybe on Whitlock. Boston will face the east.

Hank: I’ve got Schwarber and Verdugo this week facing 5 lefties. Should i leave them in expecting them to beat up on the Mariners and Orioles relievers or should I start someone like Odubel, Mccutcchen or Kepler (h2h 16 team OBP league)?

Al Gone Quinn: I’m of the mind that reaching 1st place when playing 2, 3, 5 leagues is a big whoop te do. I’m sort of a purist that way. One shot each year. Kinda like DeNiro in the Deer Hunter.

Jeff Zimmerman: I like it in that if one or two guys go down, you have something else to play for. Now, if it is a keeper league, you can at least prep for the next season.

Muddy Meadows: In a roto league and needing every cat but average, is Austin Meadows droppable at this point for Austin Hays or Lane Thomas?  The platooning is rough and he has not been good for at least a month.

Jeff Zimmerman: Gray. I always go with the better pitcher even though they have a tougher matchup

Feel the Hearn: The pitch mix changes have me curious on Hearn but he gets CWS this week. Him or RP in al only?

Jeff Zimmerman: Hearn is my sleeper but his recent matchups have been rough

Jeff Zimmerman: It comes down to if you are protecting ratios or needing K’s and Wins.
