Jeff Zimmerman: This is a tough one. I just can’t see him playing in the OF. Maybe every other day. I’d try to hold but if you have a 6 red suit case team like a couple of mine, he has to go

Mike: Do you drop Schwarber in the 15 or 12 team NFBC formats? Also, I’m feeling ready to cut bait on Heaney, is that instinct wrong?

Jeff Zimmerman: Heaney is close, but the issue is who to pick up. I found some Adrian Houser types in 12-teamers, but there is no one in 15’s

getacloo: Desperately need speed in a 15-team 5×5 roto. Thinking about dropping Kyle Seager for Oscar Mercado. I have been benching seager anyway because I have abreu, are ado and votto. Not a terrible idea?

Jeff Zimmerman: I could see dropping Seager, but I’m not sure Mercado is the SB answer. I’d rather have Nicky Lopez for steals. Bid up Brujan

Chantanella: Absolutely impossible to replace Acuna but of these OFs, who do you got?

A. Riley, Kepler, J.D. Davis, Benintendi, Pollock?

12-tm, H2H, standard 5 plus OPS and Ks

Jeff Zimmerman: Beni for the season, but it seems like a group to stream. I know the Dodgers open the break at COL so Pollock might be the first add.

Eli: Will Chad Green, Heath Hembree, or Taylor Rodgers move into/maintain legitimate closer roles moving forward?

Jeff Zimmerman: For now, I’d put my money on Hembree

Rachel: Jace Peterson. Thinking of adding him because yahoo has him playing many positions. He’s been hot lately, what are your 2nd half projections for him and his playing time. Thanks! 🙂

Jeff Zimmerman: I wrote him up in this week’s FAAB article.

Jeff Zimmerman: The issue will be playing time once Wong and Cain return. I think he’s rosterable but if the playing time dries up, move on quickly.

Hari Kiura: Is Hiura still rosterable in a 12 teamer? If so minimal bid?

Jeff Zimmerman: No, he looks to be on the short side of a 1B platoon.

larry: Do you see a turn around for Cody Bellinger. Just made a trade after losing Acuna. I traded Trevor Rogers for Belli. Thinking that Roger will be on an innings limit and hopeful Belli comes back to fantasy relevence.

Jeff Zimmerman: I think Bellinger is still not 100% and he’ll hit better as the season goes on. I just don’t know if you’ll get MVP Bellinger

Greg: 15 team NFBC, is Yan Gomes droppable for Cs like Jake Rodgers, Zack Collins, Jonah Heim, or Roberto Perez?

Jeff Zimmerman: and John Hicks

Jeff Zimmerman: I don’t know. The group you listed is not good and the Grandal owner might focus on Collins (my favorite).

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d drop Gomes and possibly add him once healthy

Pete: Any love for Cal Raleigh?

Jeff Zimmerman: I have some, but the hitting aspect is the last thing rookie catchers need to worry about. Maybe add and bench

Red Faced: Do you think Hembree can hold off IL returns Sims and Antone to remain closer? Seems to have the K/9 (15.30/9) profile of a closer. That’s just .09 worse than Hader (15.39/9)

Jeff Zimmerman: I think so. Antone might steal a few 2 IP Saves

Rico: How many saves does Bender end the season with?

Jeff Zimmerman: 12

Al Gone Quinn: Speaking of Hicks and the other TX catcher Biems (or whatever his name is), who don’t seem very good, do you see Sam Huff getting promoted? He’s in rehab from 60 day IL term and can come back soon after ASB.

Jeff Zimmerman: Maybe on Huff. With Hicks, he’s been DHing so he has a little added value

Guest: How much FAAB would you spend on Cal Raleigh and Brujan in a 12 team AL only H2H auction keeper league? My Concern is how much playing time they’ll get. Most of the top prospects have really struggled so far this year.

Jeff Zimmerman: AL-only. 5% on Raleigh and maybe up to 50% on Brujan. Someone will bid him up

Greg: Have been trying to improve ratios with high K RPs like Sewald and McHugh, would you drop one of them for Logan Webb?

Jeff Zimmerman: Fraley and Rosario. Kelenic should be up on Friday.

Kyle: What are your expectations for J. Sanchez (MIA) in 2H?  Will be adjust to big league pitching and show more power?

Jeff Zimmerman: When watching him, a person can see the talent, but Sanchez just doesn’t get to it often.

Jeff Zimmerman: There is no way to know if/when he’ll breakout but it might be this season

Jimbo: Lagging behind in steals and it doesnt appear brujan will have an every day role, how much should we be looking to spend on him?

Jeff Zimmerman: The more I think about it, I’d hold off for Durran if possible. maybe go 1% to 2%. He’s available in most of my leagues and I don’t have him as the top add. He just won’t help my team like others.

Adam: Drop Bauer in 18 team roto redraft league?

Jeff Zimmerman: With all the league proceedings so, MLB has to come to decision after this next suspension. I think they just want to wait until after the ASG. Hold him until then.

Jeff Zimmerman: That being said, if there is no money on the line and the league is just for fun, drop him.

Vic: Any production coming from Mondesi, Comforto, or Moose Tacos?

Jeff Zimmerman: I wish I knew.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d try to trade for anything, a small amount of FAAB. Someone might bite on Robles.

Wilson Betemit: Which starters should we be careful of Ning’s limits? Detroit recently announced a plan to limit Mize/Manning/Skubal innings. Kaprielian is approaching his career high of 68 innings in a season, Taillon probably has a limit somewhere. And so on?

Jeff Zimmerman: I should care about this more, but I don’t. I just deal with the shutdowns as they occur. I think it’ll be more of 6 man rotations. Also, some of the hurt pitchers (Ynoa) will need to get innings.

Chucky: Drop either McClanahan, Maoah or Kaprellian for Webb?

Jeff Zimmerman: If I was to redraft and those pitchers where left, I’d go Webb, McClanahan, Maoah, then Kap. They are close.

Easton Fections: Tyler Ward has been a drag lately, drop for Corey Dickerson, Austin Hays, Ben Gamel?

Jeff Zimmerman: Probably not

Eli: Any legitimacy to nogowski or rodolfo Castro?

Jeff Zimmerman: No idea on Castro.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’ve looked into Nogowski. He should have 10 1B games so he’s not longer DH-only. He’s hitting great (will regress). And in the middle of a lineup

Jeff Zimmerman: Might be worth and add in 15-teamers.

Al Gone Quinn: There are so many Castros in MLB it’s confusing.

Jeff Zimmerman: I think he’s fine and should be roster in all leagues. The issue with many of tonight’s drop questions are a great group of pitchers.
