| 7:30 |
: Welcome
| 7:31 |
: Here are the winning bids in the two 15-team Tout Wars redraft leagues.
| 7:31 |
:
| 7:31 |
: 12 tm 4×4, okamoto was dropped, is he better rod than Riley?
| 7:32 |
: I have Okamoto way over Riley
| 7:32 |
: 12 teal AL only 5×5 H2H keeper using S+1/2H. $25 of $100 FAAB left. Have Jansen and Baker as closers. Would you drop Bazardo for Wells? If so how much FAAB?

| 7:33 |
: I’d do $1, nothing more
| 7:33 |
: Time to move on from Goldschmidts heater. I could use a 4th OF. Who would you prefer: Bauers, J McCarthy, e Valdez?
| 7:33 |
: You have to take a shot on Valdez
| 7:34 |
: 14t H2H dynasty…Lile was dropped and I snagged him from waivers. I know about the HR drought that just ended, but I don’t see why else he was dropped. am I missing something, or did I get lucky?
| 7:34 |
: Possibly lucky or the team had a roster crunch
| 7:34 |
: Heim or Endy – 2 catcher league redraft
| 7:35 |
: Bouncing between first and second in my 12 team OC, and my team’s biggest weakness is strikeouts and ERA/WHIP. Hunter Greene just became available. I still have $400+ FAAB, and there are four or so teams in my range. How much are we thinking Greene will cost this week?
| 7:37 |
: All of it. It’s not about a set $$$ amount, but compared to the dollar amount of others. He could go for $500 in leagues if a team can win him outright.
| 7:37 |
: Any additional worries about H Greene after yesterday’s dud? Working off the rust? Noticed velo dropped as game went on
| 7:37 |
: No fastball control … horrible Zone% on it.
| 7:38 |
: Seymour over C. Scott and Bieber?
| 7:38 |
: Yes, it’s not close on either one
| 7:38 |
: The A’s have a decent team. But useage of Mason Barnett and Elvis Alvarado in the A’s bullpen is mind blowing. Best to skip, these two?
| 7:38 |
: Yes … IMO
| 7:39 |
: any hope for bleday moving forward?
| 7:39 |
: What … nothing I have are showing any red flags with his production
| 7:41 |
: There are some (power and K%) but I’m holding
| 7:41 |
: k. watson or b alexander for next week only?
| 7:41 |
: Blaze, not close
| 7:42 |
: Noah Schultz looked solid against the O’s until the 5th. Are we ready to start him this week or better to go with a middle reliever (Gabe Speier, an Orioles spec)? AL Only. Could also just hold on the bench.
| 7:42 |
: I’d go with Speier
| 7:43 |
: Is Trent Grisham a guy you’d be in on if dying for HRs and OF help in a 15 teamer?
| 7:43 |
: You have to be if needing HR
| 7:44 |
: Hi Jeff Thoughts on B Sproat after today’s game . Is he rosterable in 12 team ROS? Thanks !
| 7:45 |
: I’ve been singing his praises for a while. Started throwing strikes in late May and the underlying stats are great.
| 7:45 |
: All these guys are available in my 12 teamer – J Lowe, Larnach, Caissie and Sanoja. Drop Lukes for any of them? I see Lowe went for $44 – is he the guy? Thanks
| 7:46 |
: Lukes has a great projection this week, I might hold.
| 7:47 |
: Sean Keys picking up starts in Toronto and has power. Where would he be on your WW list? Chosing between Keys, Joshua Kuroda-Grauer, and Kahlil Watson. OBP league.
| 7:47 |
: Keys is only playing because Springer is out.
| 7:48 |
: I like Kuroda of the group.
| 7:48 |
: Would you use Prielipp (currently on bench) and sit Davis Martin in 12team AL only 5×5? My opponent has 9 starts. If I start all my SPs I’d have 7 starts. Benching either of the above nets me 6 starts. Prielipp @ Guardians. Clock might be striking 11 pm on Martin.
| 7:50 |
: I didn’t have any Davis Martin, but he’s a drop (JT Ginn might be also). I have Martin valued at a 4.64 ERA and Prielipp at 4.04
| 7:50 |
: Do you think Sasaki’s recent problems are because of Rushing catching him and not Smith? Thanks!
| 7:50 |
: Sasaki has always had problems, the catcher is the least of his worries
| 7:51 |
: Merrill worth believing in over guys like Yelich, Duran, even Bauers?
| 7:51 |
: One of those 6 team leagues.
| 7:52 |
: I have Bauers the easy #1 of the group with Yelich next
| 7:52 |
: If having an open IL spot. Is Ben Brown a must add ?
| 7:52 |
: I’m not sure on must, but a can add
| 7:52 |
: i was worried about bleday getting platooned. thanks for the responses Jeff. hope you had a fun 4th
| 7:52 |
: No problem
| 7:54 |
: Kremer, Rogers, Baz, Young. I have them valued between 4.22 ERA and 4.47 ERA
| 7:55 |
: How do you rank Hoerner, Edman & Schmitt ROS?
| 7:55 |
: Wow, my system loves Edman. It’s Edman, Schmidtt, Hoerner
| 7:56 |
: In need of a catcher ( one C Roto). Rushing, Teel or G.Moreno?
| 7:56 |
: Moreno
| 7:56 |
: 5×5 obp instead of avg, I keep switching catchers and whoever I drop of course has the better week. Who would you prefer to stick with rest of season: E Rodriguez (pit), C Ingle, or Keibert Ruiz? Thanks!
| 7:56 |
: Endy for right now
| 7:57 |
: Jump had a tough week in SacTown. Worth holding for away games? Where would he rank in your WW piece?
| 7:57 |
: 1st or 2nd. He’s a must roster
| 7:58 |
: What do you make of Jake Bennett? In a 12 team H2H, would you add over Cantillo?
| 7:58 |
: I have Bennett way over Cantillo right now
| 7:58 |
: Jacob Gonzalez had a hot week for CWS (after I dropped him) – Where would he rank in your essential WW piece? OBP league
| 7:59 |
: Down with the other platoon bats. Probably lower. With only three righties on the schedule, he’s unplayable this week.
| 7:59 |
: Do I keep holding Erceg in case KC changes heart or trades others, or drop for a better MR like Speier or Kevin Kelly?
| 8:00 |
: Get a better MR. Now, if you are, make sure they can be the closer if the closer gets hurt
| 8:00 |
: Henderson off IR who to drop: Bennett, Hancock, melton.
| 8:00 |
: Hancock
| 8:01 |
: trust drohan or buehler this week as 2start Sp?
| 8:01 |
: I would
| 8:01 |
: Anthony Seigler playing every day, sometimes leading off. OBP League. Him or Denzer Guzman?
| 8:01 |
: depends on your needs. I don’t think Seigler will provide any power, but OBP. Guzman the opposite
| 8:02 |
: Yelich and Naylor were supposed to be core, reliable guys on my team and they’re both just so-so-so mediocre. Is it time to dump them for waiver wire fodder (Josh Jung, Garrett Mitchell, Anthony Seigler, Jake Burger, etc) or just hold and hope they rally in the second half?!
| 8:02 |
: Move on from Yelich
| 8:03 |
: Victor Mesa Jr. often bats cleanup vs. righties, draws walks, stole a base yesterday. 7-game week upcoming. Any interest in an AL only OBP league? Him or Anthony Seigler?
| 8:03 |
: I like Siegler for the long run
| 8:04 |
: Fedducio or Ingle, AL only 2nd catcher, OBP league
| 8:04 |
: Neither, Ingle but I don’t like it
| 8:05 |
: Any thoughts on when Jeffers might come back and level of trust in playing him right away?
| 8:05 |
: I’d trust him right away
| 8:06 |
: He’ll be back by Friday
| 8:06 |
: Team didn’t work out the way I wanted and moving to sell in an NL only fantasy. For next year and beyond, soroka ($2) or Jared Jones ($6). $270 cap.
| 8:06 |
: Jones
| 8:07 |
: Gabriel Arias and Carlos Cortes available in 12 team AL only H2H using OPS. $25 of $100 FAAB left. Would you bench Gimenez for either one? He hasn’t been hitting nor stealing. I have roster flexibility so can fit Cortes. Arias playing everyday and has some pop and speed while Cortes appears to have refound his stroke.
| 8:07 |
: Might go $1 on Arias
| 8:07 |
: How would you describe Aaron Ashbys season + is he better than your average 4-6 starter ROS?
| 8:08 |
: His value at the season’s end will be nice but he might not get a Win going forward.
| 8:08 |
: Need another bat. Would you prioritize Eldridge, Stowers, or Grisham?
| 8:08 |
: Eldridge
| 8:09 |
: Bogaerts or Adames ROS in a 5×5 Roto?
| 8:09 |
: Bogaerts
| 8:10 |
: burke or detmers moving forward?
| 8:10 |
: I have the pair almost even. I’m going Burke based on the team around him
| 8:10 |
: This question sucks… but Caleb Killian who’s prone to blow up, or Tyler Wells who could run with it for a better team or could get replaced at the trade deadline?
| 8:11 |
: Killian
| 8:11 |
: I’m in contention in an NL only league. We can keep 6 players/yr at salary +4. Do I play on the waiver wire for guys like esmerlyn Valdez or Javier sanoja or burn a bench spot on Josue Depaula in the hope that he’s in MLB by or before Opening Day 2027?
| 8:12 |
: Either get a top-four round player or a top-10 hitting prospect. Otherwise, keep looking for one.
| 8:12 |
: I was thinking of dropping Nola, then he has a decent game. Thoughts? Thanks!
| 8:13 |
: I try not to, dropped him weeks ago
| 8:13 |
: You can drop him also
| 8:13 |
: Thanks for all the help, tonight, past and future!
| 8:13 |
: Thanks
| 8:14 |
: I dont love Robbie Ray’s declining K rate. Seems like he’s getting by with a low babip. Would you drop him for Seymore?
| 8:14 |
: I have Seymour way over Ray
| 8:15 |
: Where would Lourdes gurriel land on your fa hitters?
| 8:15 |
: Ahead of the platoon bats
| 8:15 |
: Mlod or Trevor McDonald ros and next year. Yes it’s a super deep only league
| 8:15 |
: McDonald
| 8:16 |
: Better play in a deep AL only roto ROS…Cauley or Kuroda-Grauer?
| 8:16 |
: Kuroda
| 8:17 |
: 2 More Steals for Kahlil Watson, who you had high. Do you like any of Romy Gonzalez, Vic Mesa Jr., Cameron Cauley, Joshua Kuroda-Grauer, Josh H Smith ahead of him? Who’s closest? AL OBP league
| 8:18 |
: and Watson still just has a .622 OPS.
| 8:18 |
: I like Romy and JKG
| 8:20 |
: MH2 or Carroll. The latter has been awful for the better part of I can’t remember how long.
| 8:20 |
: I have Carroll just a bit better
| 8:22 |
: That looks like it for tonight. Good luck with picking scraps tonight.

Is Barger a bench stash in a 12 teamer, or is it looking more like a lost year?
Have him stashed in an IL spot. Looking to me like a lost year. I’ll hold him for now, but if I really needed the spot, I’d dump him barring some better news.
