Justin Mason Second Base Ranks: 3/12/21
Rk Player Team Position(s) ADP Notes
Ozzie Albies ATL 2B 36.33 Safe floor for a guy that is only 24 with upside too.
DJ LeMahieu NYY 1B, 2B, 3B 34.18 Landing back in New York was the best case scenario.
Whit Merrifield KC 2B, OF 39.73 Pretty much a lock for a good average and speed with enough pop to play
Brandon Lowe TB 2B, OF 73.12 Few barrel the ball like him. Power, decent speed and batting high in a good lineup.
Keston Hiura MLW 2B 69.14 Power and speed with an awful approach. Will add 1B eligibility quickly.
Cavan Biggio TOR 2B, 3B, OF 66.47 Some concerns about where he hits in this lineup has me a bit concerned.
Max Muncy LAD 1B, 2B, 3B 103.08 Playoff performance makes me feel better about the disappointing 2020.
Jose Altuve HOU 2B 97.29 Monster postseason makes lessens some of the regular season concerns.
Mike Moustakas CIN 1B, 2B 121.45 Moose should bounceback after a weird and disappointing 2020.
Ketel Marte ARZ 2B 82.45 I am concerned about his healthy and the power outage in 2020.
Dylan Moore SEA 2B, OF 128.47 The hype is real, but the floor is just as low as the ceiling is high.
Tommy Edman STL 2B, 3B, SS, OF 128.2 I think there is enough pop and speed with a great flexibility.
Jeff McNeil NYM 2B, 3B, OF 91.41 The power outage and 0-for-2 on the basepathes has me very scared.
Andres Gimenez CLE 2B, 3B, SS 161.94 Cleveland is a great landing spot for Gimenez.
Nick Solak TEX 2B, OF 164.88 Price is rising, but the he should still be a decent value considering he has power and speed.
Jean Segura PHI 2B, 3B 176.94 The stolen bases aren’t what they used to be, but he is a solid contributor.
Kolten Wong MLW 2B 224.94 Love the move to Milwaukee. Better park and a team that runs.
Cesar Hernandez CLE 2B 333.27 Resigning in Cleveland was perfect for him. Would like to see him start to run again.
Ryan McMahon COL 1B, 2B, 3B 220.33 Swing change has me bought back in again.
Nick Madrigal CWS 2B 181.98 I am worried about the shoulder and question how much he will run.
Garrett Hampson COL 2B, OF 256.86 Is it finally Hampson SZN? I still don’t trust the Rockies.
Chris Taylor LAD 2B, SS, OF 223.9 Taylor always seems to outproduce his ADP and he should play close to everyday.
Jonathan Schoop DET 2B 317 Underrated complier.
Jon Berti MIA 2B, OF 265.63 His versatility in the field should get him enough playing time to let his speed play.
Jonathan Villar NYM 2B, SS 198.45 Awful landing spot for Villar makes it hard to draft him.
David Fletcher LAA 2B, 3B, SS 238.67 Going to lead off, but has no power or speed.
Mauricio Dubon SF 2B, SS, OF 280.8 I think he will play a lot, but he is a future utility guy.
Starlin Castro WAS 2B 310.57 Some power with a decent average in the heart of a good lineup.
Gavin Lux LAD 2B 250.53 Recent comments have me excited he might actually play.
Ty France SEA 2B 311.98 Finally has a full time role, but I don’t think that will mean that much.
Jurickson Profar SD 2B, OF 263.27 Playing time crunch in SD is a bit scary
Scott Kingery PHI 2B, OF 309.41 Kingery has average and injury issues, but there is talent there.
Kike Hernandez BOS 2B, OF 373.29 I think he signed in Boston because he will play everyday.
Jake Cronenworth SD 1B, 2B, SS 227.29 No DH hurts him a lot.
Rougned Odor TEX 2B 440.06 Power and speed, but now there is playing time concerns along with the average issues.
Niko Goodrum DET 2B, SS 408.69 There is power and speed here, but the batting average and playing time are concerns.
Tommy La Stella SF 1B, 2B 316.33 Might lead off in SF.
Nico Hoerner CHC 2B, SS 416.02 Could accumalate in Chicago.
Adam Frazier PIT 2B, OF 425.86 Will play and lead off in Pittsburgh until they trade him.
Donovan Solano SF 2B 490.45 I am not a believer in Donnie Bats, but he should get first crack at full time playing time.
Nicky Lopez KC 2B 637.31 Lopez is going to play, but does that matter?
Joey Wendle TB 2B, 3B, SS 322.61 Strong side platoon is still a platoon.
Jazz Chisholm MIA 2B, SS 452.55 There is power and speed, but will he strikeout too much.
Luis Urias MLW 2B, 3B, SS 397.82 Should play every day, but bats at the bottom.
Freddy Galvis BAL 2B, SS 428.16 Could compile just by playing every day.
Wilmer Flores SF 1B, 2B 379.59 Playing time is an issue without a DH
Luis Arraez MIN 2B 392.14 The Simmons signing hurts his playing time.
Isan Diaz MIA 2B 615.92 Probably not a starter, but there is still talent there.
Brendan Rodgers COL 2B 392.24 Is it finally his time?
Luis Garcia WAS 2B 570.84 On the outside looking in.
ADP is NFBC Draft Champions ADP over the last month
