Paul Sporer: Good afternoon everyone!! Thank you for coming out!!

kevinthecomic: Thanks for chatting, Paul!  What do you make of the Rangers firing Woodward and Daniels?  Was ownership expecting to compete this year?  Is it about the disappointing performances of Semien and Seager?  Something else?

Paul Sporer: I am definitely surprised they cleaned house!!

Paul Sporer: I don’t think it’s based on Seager & Semien, maybe just time to start over

Paul Sporer: definitely shocked though

Guest: Luis Rengifo turning into a real thing for 2023?

Jeff Zimmerman: Welcome everyone and we will only go 45 minutes tonight.

Jeff Zimmerman: Here are the FAAB bids from the two 15-team mixed Tout Wars leagues.

Jeff Zimmerman:

Ed: Thanks for the chat, Jeff. Trusting Trevor Rogers once he comes back from rehab?

Jeff Zimmerman: No

Ryan: hi jeff. thanks for these. r. stripling j. steele or b. garrett ROS?

Paul Sporer: Hello everyone! How about that insane night of baseball last night?? Just so many electric games for a random Tuesday in August!!

Terry: Sewald or baustista ROS?  10tewm points league

Paul Sporer: Bautista is the THE guy for Baltimore, whereas Sewald is more like a 85-90% guy

wes: India or Segura ROS in a 5×5 12’er?

Paul Sporer: Segura for me. Not 100% out on India despite the tough year, but just have always loved Segura

Lonnie: You buying Detmers’ recent performance?

Jeff Zimmerman: Welcome

Jeff Zimmerman: A busy week.

Jeff Zimmerman:

Jeff Zimmerman: Those are the bids from the two 15-team Tout Wars mixed leagues.

Quad 8s: 12tm H2h pts. Pick 1: Springs vs MIL or 2x start Zach Thompson (@ARI,@SF)?

Jeff Zimmerman: Spring for me.

Paul Sporer: Hello everyone! Are we recovering from the frenzy?

Walker Buehler: Level of concern about my injury for next season?

Paul Sporer: Too early to say.

Chuck: Is it time to give up on Castellanos?

Paul Sporer: Definitely depends who you’re picking up for him, but my goodness has he been bad! Given the substantial fall off and just utter lack of power, it’s hard not to think he’s playing through something, right? His skills didn’t just melt, right?! At any rate, I understand moving on in shallower formats

Chuck: Do you believe in Detmers’ recent surge? Apparently he tweaked his slider during his recent sojourn in Salt Lake.

Jeff Zimmerman: Welcome.

Jeff Zimmerman: Head up, I might cut the chat short a few minutes to give myself more time to go over my leagues.

Jeff Zimmerman: Here are the Tout Wars bids on the two 15-team mixed leagues.

Jeff Zimmerman:

Guest: Drop Houck for Luis Garcia?

Jeff Zimmerman: I think it’s a vertical move. Garcia (SD) isn’t supposed to keep the job forever. The plan is to bring Rogers back.

Jeff Zimmerman: Welcome

Jeff Zimmerman: Here are the winning FAAB bids from the two 15-team Tout Wars leagues

Jeff Zimmerman:

Head: projections for JJ Bleday?

Jeff Zimmerman: I think he’s a full-season 20-30 HR, 5 SB, .225 AVG guy

Frank: Are we still believers in Vinny P? All the peripherals say hold but it’s been rough. Prefer him to Pratto? darick hall?

Paul Sporer: Good afternoon, y’all! Worst day in baseball today with no games or MLB-based events!

Paul Sporer: But we’ll make it better with some chatting!!

Leo: What are your thoughts on Braxton Garrett? Are his improvements for real?

Paul Sporer: I’m certainly intrigued by him. He showed major BB gains in AAA and has brought them to the majors so far. If he can continue this newfound control, there is some real 2H upside

Jim Leyland Palmer: For next season onwards, is Strider a top tier starting pitcher keeper asset? Or is there some concerns / variability with his future?

Paul Sporer: I wouldn’t quite go top tier but he’s up there. It’s always hard to predict the future with SPs, but his stuff is excellent and he doesn’t seem daunted by the shift to starting

Jeff Zimmerman: Welcome and I’ll probably just go 45 minutes.

KCbbq: With Jake Meyers not running away with the CF job and McCormick hitting better do you think the latter has a chance of getting the job back……or will Houston trade for a CFer? McCormick is available via FAAB.

Jeff Zimmerman: I think it’s Meyers job for a bit longer. The Astros could trade for a center fielder.

Don Juan: Nolan Jones or Jose Miranda ROS? Thanks!

Jeff Zimmerman: Comes done to need. Without any context Jones. I’m worried about Miranda’s playing time with so many corner bats.

KCbbq: Akil Baddoo is available in my 12 team AL only 5×5 keeper league. How much FAAB (out of 18 left of 100) are you willing to spend? Detroit has such a pitiful offense am afraid to roster another  (have Greene).
