Why you no take Vlad- mondesi at 3/4turn? At least Vlad-correa. I read pham & went to sleep 💤.

Bc we wanted Pham. I’m not trying to be flip, but I mean we obv didn’t take those others bc we didn’t like them as much as Pham. Not sure how taking him puts you to sleep, he’s far more dynamic than Correa and has a substantially higher floor than Mondesi. I’m not anti-Mondesi or Correa, but acting like Pham is some clown by comparison makes no sense to me.

Nice draft last night Paul. Wheeler pick might have been the third easiest to call in the draft after Trout/Betts!

So, my partner and I drafted Lindor recently after the injury. It’s a 15 team keeper league (keep only 5) with some unique keeper rules, but to summarize, Jose Ramirez, Alex Bregman, and Ronald Acuna were the only first round talents that were kept (and the only ones eligible to be kept) by other teams. Merrifield and Bader were the 2 hitters that we kept, and we had pick 7. First 6 picks were Trout, Betts, JD Martinez, Yelich, Arenado, and Altuve. So we were looking at Lindor, Turner, Scherzer, deGrom, Harper, and Machado. Due to Merrifield and Bader, we thought Turner would be overkill in the steals category, and we wanted a little more power than Turner had. We decided against a pitcher in that spot, and we didn’t like not knowing where Machado and Harper would end up. Plus, we preferred a 5 category contributor, so Lindor it was. I would’ve preferred Jose Ramirez or Acuna, and I’d agree with everyone who went ahead of Lindor except Altuve. We’d have taken Turner ahead of him if I was starting a team from scratch. Basically, this means I’d have Lindor 9th overall right now. Thoughts?
