Cito’s Mustache: Need a replacement for Oberg in standard roto. Davis, Hudson, N Anderson, Lugo, or Romo. Thanks as always, Jeff.

7:37
Jeff Zimmerman: Davis, Hud, Lugo, Romo, and Anderson being Saves centric

7:37
Ronny: Any deep league waiver wire adds for teams needing HRs?

7:38
Jeff Zimmerman: Ty France and Corban Joseph

7:38
Jon: What widely available waiver wire player would be the best bet for stolen bases the remainder of the season?

7:39
Jeff Zimmerman: Edman, Rojas, Lopes (Sea)

7:39
Cito’s Mustache: Which one of these three are you starting next week? 14-team points league. Vargas @ MIA, Mikolas vs COL, Webb @ OAK.

7:40
Jeff Zimmerman: Vargas probably. All three are nice matchups

7:40
Porcho Villa: The DL runneth over. In a 12-team H2H, which two would you cut bait on: Glasnow, Woodruff, Stanton, Kluber, Encarnacion, or Mondesi?

7:41
Jeff Zimmerman: Woodruff. I for sure keep Mondesi, Stanton and Kluber. They are the difference makers

7:41
Cito’s Mustache: I need to drop 1 when Cruz returns off the IL: Schwarber (is he sitting against all LHP?), JD Davis, or Tauchman. Roto w/ AVG & OBP, thanks Jeff.

7:41
Jeff Zimmerman: Probably Tauchman. Track Davis’s playing time closely

7:42
cavebird: Help!  I just traded keepers at the trade deadline in my league to make a run and had a good chance to gain four or five points in saves by ending up with four closers.  Those are points I need to win.  I just had a brutal 24 hours losing Doolittle indefinitely and Oberg for the season.  We are a deep league with 16 teams and 5 RP-only slots, so most options are taken.  I have Nick Anderson to slot in and can hope he gets a few saves, but is there anyone out there who is a deep sleeper for saves in the last six weeks of the season?

7:42
Jeff Zimmerman: Matt Magill

7:43
Rocco: Is this a McMahon breakout or just a hot streak in COL?

7:43
Mistro: Am I right to balk at picking up Marwin Gonzalez? Is he helpful on a contending team in an AL only or is he just a guy?

7:43
Jeff Zimmerman: No idea, I have no inside info

7:43
The Drake: Corey Dickerson or Marwin Gonzalez ros

7:43
Jeff Zimmerman: Someone else? I’d go with Dickerson but I don’t like it.

7:44
Mark : In a league that counts QS, do you have confidence in starting McKay this week?

7:44
Jeff Zimmerman: He’s close to must start for me. There is so much bad pitching out there.

7:44
Mark : Do you think Mike Montgomery can sustain this type of success ?

7:45
Jeff Zimmerman: Yes

7:45
Todd Gak: How do you value Games Played over a 7 day period? Would you play a Delino Deshields (8 games) over a more established hitter, say Corey Dickerson, who might only have 5 games this week?

7:46
Jeff Zimmerman: For sure, in my book, there are way too many pages on the difference.

7:46
Larry: Hudson look like a decent bet to grab the closer role and run with it in Washington?

7:46
Jeff Zimmerman: Agree

7:46
Mike: need to fill a utility in a deep league Galvis, Rojas, Duffy, A Frazier, tellez, C Joseph are all options

7:46
Jeff Zimmerman: I like the upside of Rojas the most.

7:47
Two catchers?: Points league playoffs. Semis are two weeks. My catcher is Ramos. Do you think it’s worth picking up a second catcher for his off and rest days? Options are Sisco, Jansen, Suzuki, B. McCann, Wolters, Castillo, Phegley, and Severino. Who do you like? (Top 3)

7:48
Jeff Zimmerman: I like the option of getting Sisco and Severino and then always have a C. I’d take Castillo if going with Ramos

7:48
catzdogz: Any catchers worth bidding more than 1% on? Have $6 FAAB left after starting with $100

7:48
Jeff Zimmerman: No, maybe SEA’s Nola if he’s C eligible.

7:48
Dannodo: What are your thoughts on National’s late inning relief situation?  Any under the radar set up men you feel are under owned in mixed leagues that are under owned?  Thanks!

7:49
Jeff Zimmerman: I like Hudson best, then Strickland.

7:49
Chucky: Not sure what all the hubbub is all about Josh Rojas. Having said that, am I swapping out Rojas for either Ian Happ or Marwin? Love Marwin’s upcoming week and need an OFer in H2H.

7:50
Jeff Zimmerman: Most of the Rojas love comes from his SB’s. I’d swap Marwin for Rojas in a Roto format. Keep Gonzalez in a points league

7:51
RMR: Drop Rogers or colome for bradley?

7:52
Jeff Zimmerman: Your kind of rearranging deck chairs. Maybe take the one with the easiest opponents and most games.

7:52
Mike: Drop Stripling for Gonsolin

7:52
Jeff Zimmerman: Yes

7:52
Ryan: 3 weeks left in my regular season and need to make a push to make playoffs now. Have 2 DL spots for Severino, Ray, and Encarnacion. Who would you drop?

7:52
Jeff Zimmerman: Severino, he’s likely headed to the bullpen

7:53
Sammi Durante’s large shnoz: Need to take a flyer on a 2B for next year…who would you take out of Kevin Newman, Niko Goodrum, Nicki Lopez, or Josh VanMeter?

7:53
Jeff Zimmerman: Newman or VanMeter

7:53
MikeyN: AL only, Carrasco worth a drop for Plutko?

7:54
Jeff Zimmerman: Carrasco is being prepped for the bullpen (Athletic article?).

7:54
Jward : Weak at 1B. Any love for Kevin Cron I’m points league dynasty. He should be up again soon. Long term??

7:55
Jeff Zimmerman: The Angels have too many 1B, such a mess

7:55
Shaun: Was going to pitch Keller next week if he had a good showing tonight. He did not. Stick with him or swap to Allard, Quantrill, or Ross?

7:56
Jeff Zimmerman: I’d go with Allard or Ross

7:56
Crudelamens: Please rank Galvis, J Rojas, France, and Berti. Or use my claim on encarnacion since I have playoffs licked up?

7:57
Jeff Zimmerman: Rojas, France, Berti, Galvis

7:57
MikeyN: What are your thoughts on Jace Peterson ROS?

7:57
Jeff Zimmerman: He’s OK, He just doesn’t play enough

7:58
Rookie SPs: Who do you like Gonsolin or Webb for ROS?

7:58
Jeff Zimmerman: Webb. I think he may pitch more.

7:58
Philip Christy: Kyle Gibson or Mike Montgomery ROS?

7:58
Jeff Zimmerman: Gibson, he’s going to rack up wins with the Twins O

7:59
Carlos: Deep and ultra-competitive dynasty league keeper shortstop in a points league: Amed Rosario or Jean Segura?

7:59
Jeff Zimmerman: Segura

7:59
Rocco: Start McKay this week vs SEA and DET?  In a tight Era / whip race and don’t want to take any backward steps

8:00
Jeff Zimmerman: Yep. If you don’t start him against the league’s two biggest cream puffs, then just drop him.

8:00
the dude: Think Mike Trout is due for some regression? 9 years of an OPS above 1.000 is unsustainable.

8:00
Jeff Zimmerman: Next week

8:00
Todd Gak: Corban Joseph worth a flyer? Those numbers in the minors pop.

8:01
Jeff Zimmerman: Yes, depending on league depth

8:02
Joe: Yarbrough or Odorizzi 12 team cats h2h ROS?

8:02
Jeff Zimmerman: Yarbrough

8:02
Edwin: How much playing time will Rojas get?  4 out of 5 starts? more? less?

8:03
Jeff Zimmerman: Might sit against lefties or full-time starter

8:03
Pedro: Is Dustin May worth holding onto?  Is he done starting for the year, you think?

8:03
Jeff Zimmerman: He’s a drop

8:03
Ryan: Who do you like best at utility in a traditional 5×5 league: Cron, Pederson, or Schwarber?

8:03
Jeff Zimmerman: Cron

8:04
Sammi Durante’s large shnoz: Would you support MLB adopting a relegation system to keep teams from purposely tanking and possibly rewarding great supportive AAA towns/teams with the influx of cash that comes with profit sharing?

8:04
Jeff Zimmerman: Sorry sir, this is a fantasy chat.

8:05
Jeff Zimmerman: The queue has dried up.

8:05
Jeff Zimmerman: I’ll talk to everyone next week.
