Starting Pitcher Chart – April 24th, 2026

Welcome to the Daily SP Chart.

The chart includes their performance for 2026, their opponent’s wOBA versus the pitcher’s handedness, my general start/sit recommendation for 10-team, 12-team, and 15-team (or more) leagues – essentially a shallow, medium, deep league setup – and then a note about some, most, or all depending on the day. If a pitcher only has an “x” in 15-team, it doesn’t mean there’s no potential use in 10s and 12s, but it’s a much riskier stream for those spots.

These are general recommendations for standard 5×5 roto leagues, and your league situation will carry more weight whether you are protecting ratios or chasing counting numbers. I usually won’t have much to write about aces who are locked into our rotations. If you want to discuss someone further, please feel free to leave a comment. I usually do a few sweeps of the comments before game time in case there are time-sensitive questions.

Super straightforward board for Friday. Warren/Painter get tough road draws but both are showing strong enough skills to run with them in a lot of spots. Kikuchi could probably go in 12s, too, but I get burned by him so often that I lean against in close calls. And then a ton of names I just don’t want any part of it. I wonder if we see some big scoring today!

Wind at 10+:

SF – out to L center at 10 in a ballpark designed to minimize wind impacts

Rain at 20+% (max in-game %):

BAL – 45%
CIN – 75%

Friendly reminder that the Pads and DBacks are in Mexico City this weekend at 7,335′ elevation. No game today but they play there Saturday and Sunday

Just to piggy-back on the Mexico City note – there have been 4 games played in Mexico City so far, back in 2023 and 2024. Really SSS, but those games combined for 63 runs, or 15.75 runs per game, with 23 HR in the 4 games combined.

PItchers for that series: Marquez vs Gallen and King vs Nelson

Also going to point out that the Pads are coming off a series at Coors so they’ve been at elevation for the last 3 days.
