New Universal Rankings Page

I’m proud to present a great new feature for our fantasy readers: a universal rankings page! Now you can find the rankings of me (Paul Sporer), Jeff Zimmerman, Justin Mason, and Chad Young all in one spot for multiple formats. Jeff, Justin, and I are ranking hitters for 5×5 and points formats, with Justin and I doing the same for pitchers (Jeff only does hitters), and Chad fulfilling your Ottoneu needs.

You will also find Sleeper & Bust tags along with added notes on select players if you click the clipboard in the far right column. All our rankings will consistently be updated throughout the year with specific cut-offs so you can reference how things have changed. From now through March 1st is the “Preseason”, March 1st-Opening Day is “Draft-Season”, and from there forward is “In-Season” and you can access that with the Time Frame drop down atop the page.

I’m still adding a lot of Sleepers, Busts, and notes in the coming days as well as finishing my Points rankings so stay tuned for those!

Sorry for the naive question but, why is Bobby Witt (a low-walk player) #1 in OBP leagues and #22 in other 5×5’s? Are the columns backward or am I just totally missing how this works.

The potential of Seth Lugo at SP seems to be quite divisive amongst the experts.

This is great, thank you! Two enhancements to request: collapse the sleeper/bust column into 1 column to save screen real estate. And would it be possible to take an average of all 3 and use that as the default sort?

I agree that an average ranking column as the default would be a nice addition. Nice job!

Great! I had been doing this manually for some years so now I don’t have to get surprised by accidentally recording old rankings when there’s new ones to be found. Thanks for doing this. I’m still going to focus on the articles and commentary that comes with the rankings, of course.

Love this. I think I get the time frame dropdown concept, but is there going to be a way to see the actual date each of the rankings was last updated?

Is anyone else having a real hard time w/ Acuna? Guy was *BAD* last year at the plate, at least for him. Barrel % down, LA way down, EV way down. Lots of ppl want to chalk it up to injury, but it’s pretty rare to find an instance of a star player struggling so badly after coming back from significant injury before eventually finding their pre-injury form (Trout, Corey Seager, Freeman, Buster Posey, Machado, Buxton were all pretty much the same after coming back from their injuries). The star players who did struggle upon return from injury never really returned to their previous form. Willing to be proven wrong, but statistically it’s a bad spot.

This is great. How can we see the age of the rankings? I think the Sporer SP are the ones from December 2022.

Jake Mailhot’s rankings need to be added to the Ottoneu portion!

Technical question: when I click the link and get to the rankings, there is an option to select a specific expert. But unless I’m missing something, once I select an expert I can toggle among experts but I can’t deselect and return to the overview page–I have to exit and reenter the tool to do that.
