Notable Workloads
•José Leclerc, TEX: 22 pitches on Sunday; 12 pitches on Saturday. | RosterResource
Co-closers Will Smith and Aroldis Chapman should both be available on Monday.
Injury News

Outlier Saves
•Brusdar Graterol, LAD | RosterResource
Evan Phillips threw just 18 pitches to get five outs on Saturday, and while he surely would’ve been available for a higher-stakes game, the Dodgers saw no sense in pushing it with him on Sunday a day after an up-down. Graterol wasn’t quite at his sharpest on Sunday, issuing a walk and giving up a hit while throwing only 12 of 21 pitches for strikes, but he was able to keep the Braves off the board and lock down a 3-1 win. It was the seventh save of the year for the fireballing righty, lowering his ERA to a sterling 1.38.
Committee Clarity
•None
Losing A Grip
•Justin Lawrence, COL | RosterResource
Lawrence gave up two more runs on Sunday, taking the loss and raising his ERA to 4.18. After striking out the side for a save on August 14, Lawrence’s ERA sat at 2.76, but he’s given up a staggering 12 runs in six innings since then. Getting hit around has transitioned into losing the zone entirely, as Lawrence walked three on Saturday and another on Sunday. The Rockies are pretty light on alternatives, but Tyler Kinley bailed Lawrence out on Saturday and Matt Koch has pitched well, so they could be the first two in line. Brent Suter represents an option from the left side.
Alex Lange not the closer in Det? Doval with a yellow?
