Am I? Hendriks just got 3/54 w/an option and Jansen is the best or 2nd best righty closer of his era and 2nd or 3rd overall w/Kimbrel & Chapman. Doesn’t seem that off base, tbh.

The Wendle trade is just a Rays’ salary dump. They already have Meadows, Arozarena and Margot for OF. Plus CF Josh Lowe who in a 2021 full season at AAA Durham had a .916 OPS plus 26 SBs and ZERO CS. Now the Rays just have got to dump Kiermeier.

It was a salary dump, just as KK will be, but that doesn’t mean they don’t like Misner. Meadows isn’t meant to play in the OF regularly, either, and they never really just use 3 OF.
