So happy the DH is dead in the NL this year. One more year of “normal” baseball. Hopefully it ends up being mostly normal.

How dare you want to hold on to tradition! Progress or censor is the way

I prefer small ball baseball to the swing and miss mentality of most of todays hitters. Pitchers should be able to handle a bat well enough to not look like a fool out there. Bunts, productive ground outs, fly balls that advance a runner, these are all good things to see in a game. Also, a pitcher batting instead of a player whose only job is to hit well can help keep pitching stats lower and I like that.
In addition I like having bench players who you can expect to get into the game, even if for one at bat in the later innings. I’ve never enjoyed watching AL games.

Because I prefer quality pitching to home runs and strike out offense? Or because I like all of the different strategic aspects of the game of baseball?
