It’s definitely reasonable for the Giants to nitpick on a deal that lasts 13 years. If they think an injury puts a cap on the stability of late stage career, it is more than justifiable. An old injury is a scar, i.e. this isn’t the same as before, no matter how many years old. It is a weakening of potential.
