Jeff Zimmerman: He’s OK. He always seems to have a new plan. I’d buy the K’s and everything else is gravy

Cito’s Mustache: I have the following guys: Rogers, Neris, Jackson, Hendriks, and Vazquez. Would that be the order of riskiest-to-safest to retain a closing role after the deadline?

Lady Justice: Can you elaborate on how Brosseau is a must-own in all formats?  How does he find consistent playing time when Lowe and Robertson return?

Jeff Zimmerman: He needs to be owned, maybe not started, and maybe dropped later.

Jeff Zimmerman: This filter is doing great this season and I see no reason for Brosseau to break the mold. He’s way better than Robertson

Richard: Who do you prefer at MI ROS: Asdrubal, Odor, Kike, Adames, Newman or Sogard? 12-team mixed. Thanks Jeff!

Jeff Zimmerman: Sogard then maybe Newman. The rest have playing time issues.

Junior: What will Urias’ usage look like in the second half?  How many innings does he have left?  Is there any likely scenario he moves to the rotation?

Jeff Zimmerman: I think he’s getting 6 IP per week and the Dodgers are planning to use him as a bullpen arm in the post season.

mj: OBP and SLG league.  Jose Martinez or Austin Riley?

Jeff Zimmerman: Martinez for 2 weeks (Osuna returns at the end of July), Riley beyond that

Chas: Do you like Adam Plutko against the Tigers?

Jeff Zimmerman: Like … no. Using him anyway because of all the other options suck … yes.

Bartolo: How would you feel about dealing Hansel Robles for Oscar Mercado in an AL-Only OBP league?  Need steals, although I do also have a chance to pick up a couple points in saves.  Would still have Colome, Pagan and Eovaldi.

Garrett: Interest in Robel Garcia? Cubs fan and I’m a little biased, but I think he’s got massive upside. That said, the K rate in the minors reaaaaally worries me and I’m not sure how he gets consistent ABs with Bote and Russell also in the mix.

Maris: Opinion on Tommy Edman? He was hot, but now has lost time with Carpenter (hitting .215) back. Worth rostering?

Jeff Zimmerman: Hold him for a week and see what happens. I think he’s better than Wong but it seems the Cards are trying to give Wong one last chance.

Jason : Do you think Nate Lowe is worth spending FAAB in 12 team mixed H2H (with batting average)?

Jeff Zimmerman: Probably but depends on roster. On a couple of my teams, I’m stacked at 1B so I’m passing on him.

Sano or Brosseau: Who ya got the next 6 weeks or so in an OPS league?

Jeff Zimmerman: Sano. His playing time is more secure.

Jeff Zimmerman: I think it’s McKay and it’s not close right now

CJ: What’s up with Stripling being pulled after 68 pitches last night?  He was cruising and I thought the plan was to stretch him out.  Think he sticks it out in the rotation till Hill comes back?

Jeff Zimmerman: He’s in the rotation for a bit AND I’d bet one or more of the other starts heads to the IL at some point.

Steve: Jansen, Cisco or Chirinos ROS? 12-team mixed league.

Jeff Zimmerman: This a tough one and I like all three. I like Chirinos based on playing time but could be talked in Jansen.

I was saying Brousseau: I like Mike but the statcast page isn’t pretty. Thoughts?

Jeff Zimmerman: He’s an unhyped prospect getting some playing time and making the most of it. What are you expecting? The next Mike Trout to suddenly pop up?

Jeff Zimmerman: I think the Astros will be trading for a starter(s) any day now. James may get the start tomorrow but I don’t think he’s long for he job.

Matt S: Thoughts on Kevin Kiermaier ROS?

Jeff Zimmerman: Kiermaier is producing like he always has when healthy. Continue to ride out the production until he gets hurt again.

Brian: Gennett or Brandon Lowe ROS?

Jeff Zimmerman: Scooter.

Dumb as a Rockie: Would you drop Alex Young for Brosseau if RBI starved in a 14 teamer? WHat about Brosseau over Dave Peralta?

Jeff Zimmerman: I favored Brosseau over Young but bid on both. I’m worried about Young’s K’s but he could figure it out.

Cito’s Mustache: When someone says “points league”, is there a standard category and scoring system you take that to mean? I’ve only ever played points leagues at Fantrax.

Jeff Zimmerman: There isn’t one. I kind of use my comments from the DFS systems each site has a different one.

Matt S: Kiermaier or Cain ROS?

Jeff Zimmerman: Right now, I

Jeff Zimmerman: ‘m taking Kiermaier. Cain has admitted to being hurt.

Mark: Drop Votto for Yandy/Cooper/Slater/Bradley?

Jeff Zimmerman: Probably not but if I had to pick one, it would be Cooper.

Maris: Picked up Cub Alzolay before he got bombed and sent down. Should I hang on? Got a deep staff of starters, hold guys.

The Mick: How often will N Lowe and Brosseau play and who would you rather have?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m not sure about the playing time. Wendle might even lose time. He’s sort of struggled since coming off the IL.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d take Lowe for now

Don’t be a Hader: Health permitting, do you see N.Lowe and G.Cooper being lineup staples in 12 Teamers?

Jeff Zimmerman: Probably on some team. With that said, I’m starting to see more and more owners quit their teams. One team in one of my leagues is still starting Cervelli.

Jeff Zimmerman: 12-teams are most likely 10-teamers right now.

Alps: Would you drop hunter dozier for cooper,Christian walker or Danny Santana

Jeff Zimmerman: If they are all available, just stream the best option for the current matchups.

Matt S: Is Vlad Jr going to get it going?

Jeff Zimmerman: Not sure … I hope so but I’ve not seen any sign of a breakout.
