Jeff Zimmerman: I ranked Allen over Bibee based on his “stuff” numbers. They are really close otherwise. I’m guessing we are in the Bradley/Miller range of 10% to 50% to get one of them

Schilling & Pence: Snell, Bibee and Grayson R are all on the waiver wire in one of my leagues.  How would you rank them for ROS—probably more interested in ceiling than worried about floor

Jose Abreu: TIme to cut bait on Abreu in 10 & 12 teamers where guys like Christian Walker and Josh Bell are available?  He looks pretty bad.

Jeff Zimmerman: Abreu is probably in streaming range with those WW options.

Old vs New: What’s your outlook on Jd Martinez ROS? Would you take any of the hot bats over him…Duran, Suwinski, or Rooker?

Jeff Zimmerman: With those options, I’d be streaming based on that week’s matchup

Travioli: Deciding between Yennier Cano or Yonny Chirinos to help fill in for a bombed out staff. Who’d your pick be?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d stick with Tork for now

Jeff Zimmerman: Here is what I do, I go to Razzball ($$ but just about $1 a week) and they are ranked: Abreu, Joe, Santana

Bert is the word: J. Berti is a safe drop in a 12 teamer roto league, right? Dude is 33, done little this far, and J. Wendel is coming back imminently. G Perdomo is looking pretty good as an SS replacement

Jeff Zimmerman: Berti is fine to drop but Perdomo is a horrible add. He’ll only play three games next week (just 5 games, 2 vs lefties).

Jeff Zimmerman: It’ll happen to some pitchers, it’s too early to know if giving up a ton of runs is a skill Lodolo has.

A.: Drop Minter or Lopez for Y Cano or M Moore? 6×6, sv and holds are separate categories.

Jeff Zimmerman: Drop Minter for Moore. I like Lopez the most

Digging a hole: In a deep hole in era/whip. AL only. Better to try bulk innings/starters (Kikuchi, sears, Ober, Chirinos types) or better quality RPs (cano, will vest, wentz)?

Jeff Zimmerman: You want to try to win three categories if he give up on going for all five. If you have closers (they can be bad), stream away. If you don’t have closers, get the best bullpen arms you can (make sure you can reach IP min) and hope for Saves from them

Jon: I’m in an OPS league and looking to upgrade over Ketel Marte. I want to package Marte and Josh Lowe for a 2nd baseman. Who should I be targeting? I already tried for Gorman but got rejected, Chisholm? Gleyber?

Jeff Zimmerman: You are aiming way too high. Maybe go for the Rays other Lowe

Guesty: How would you prioritize the following, Strahm, Bibee, Logan Allen, M. Miller, G. Stone?

Liam: Think Leclerc can regain the closer role in Texas ?

Jeff Zimmerman: Maybe. I could see him end up with 8-12 Saves at the season’s end

Jimbo: Do you believe Tyrone Taylor will provide productive stats upon his return?  Would you drop Manual Margot, Max Kepler or David Villar for him?

Steve: It seems you and sporer have different opinions on bradish per his last Wednesday chat.  Is it a matter of perspective or context to each specific area you both focus?

Jeff Zimmerman: I have Bradish valued as a 4.71 ERA guy with the walks (5.4 BB/9) still being an issue.

Jeff Zimmerman: 1% at most. A manager can’t be dropping more on two weekly streamers. It’ll end up costing more than 52% of FAAB by season’s end.

Dude: Interesting that you would prioritize Bibee over Stone. Is it because you feel Bibee is the better pitcher or just that he has a better chance to stick in the majors right now?

Jeff Zimmerman: It’s all sticking in the majors. Also, Plesac sucks and is obvious demote.

Cd: Would you drop Ashcraft in a 10t h2h with qs for a reliever like Abreu in a NSH when you’ve been sporting Romero and Hader and winning that category against teams with 4+ relievers? Been losing era and whip consistently so far too but I always heavily invest in SPs to start before slowly coming around to RPs for balance. Just don’t want to lose out on either player rn

Jeff Zimmerman: I think both options are streamable in a 10-teamer. I’d try to just win each week and don’t get tied to either one.
