Jeff Zimmerman: It seems like his increased his bat speed by 3 mph over the last couple of weeks. In Roto, he might already be added because of the steals.

Jeff Zimmerman: Martin the spec to add. With today’s appearance, Jackson dropped his ERA from 6.55 to 6.00.

Jeff Zimmerman: I don’t think so with Gurriel. Almost all of his struggles are BABIP related.

SP Q: Where would Roupp, Severino, and Sears be among your SP list for today’s article?

Jeff Zimmerman: They are must-rosters in all leagues. Maybe Gonsolin belongs with them, but probably not.

Jeff Zimmerman: As for Mayo FAAB, 1% for me. I’m not sure he’s an improvement over other guys on the wire.

Redbull44: If you had to choose between Logan Allen and Andrew Heaney in a 15 team head to head league for the ROS. Who would you choose and why?

Jeff Zimmerman: Heaney. He’s the better pitcher

SS for Days: I have Neto, Perdomo, and Story in a 12 team 5×5 with only two spots for them (Rooker in U). Would your drop Story for Mayo or Baez to give more positional versatility?

Jeff Zimmerman: Yes on the Story drop if Baez or Mayo are improvements for your team.

Mark: Which two out of Kahnle, Vest. Doval, Faucher and Bender in a 5×5?

Jeff Zimmerman: Vest and Faucher

Nevyn: Are you taking a break from fantasy baseball after this year?

Jeff Zimmerman: It’ll be at two at the earliest. I just want to get two items done before then so I scaled back and decreased my social media presence

SFG: Kyle Harrison recalled. Have you heard anything regarding his role? Are they going to Birdsong him? Or send Hicks or Roupp to the pen?

Jeff Zimmerman: I found nothing so far.

Johnny5Alive: NL only, dynasty roto league. 13 teams. Very old league, so we have some… Interesting rules regarding faab. Gonsolin is available, min bid is $11 ($100 budget) and they’re stuck on your roster ROS and next year. Flags fly forever, so I’m not concerned about next year. But I am concerned about 1) him being a dodger so likely not getting ROS run and 2) his finished velo which maybe makes him not as good as expected.

KCBBq: Thanks so much for doing these chats. Been posting here last 3 seasons. 12 team AL only 5×5 H2H keeper league using OBP. Would you drop Nolan Jones for any of Vivas, Leo Rivas, Schneeman, Josh Rojas, Crim, Laureano, LeMathieu or Stanton (maybe back sometime in June)? I have 47 of 100 FAAB left. Any of those worth more than $1?

Kurtz: What do you expect from Kurtz going forward? Should he be rostered in a shallow 10/12 team league or are the strikeouts too high? Other options are guys like Yandy, Busch, etc.

Jeff Zimmerman: Add Yandy and Busch over Kurtz.

Jeff Zimmerman: The issue with Kurtz is that he can only hit fastballs. Pitcher aren’t throwing him fastballs, hence the 45% K%

Jeff Zimmerman: Right now, I have Hancock and Hoglund rated similarly. Right now, I’m gambling on Hoglund’s upside
