Bob: How many pitches in a game do you think deGrom will top out at this year?

Jeff Zimmerman: 80 at least. Teams and doctors want the pitcher to finish the rehab to see if there are any issues. They want to deal with it now instead of in the spring.

Jeff Zimmerman: Maybe, I ignored him on the wire. Really comes down to the available options.

Jeff Zimmerman: Probably. Most likely I don’t have better options.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m dropping everywhere. I need to win each week

Jeff Zimmerman: Probably #1. He might fit in with the top 3. It might come down to team needs.

Jeff Zimmerman: As for bids, I’m guessing it will be max bid time. Teams will go down to 5 to 10 FAAB for future moves but someone will go heavy. The hammer might just drop it and add him.

JG: Drop Laureano for Jordan Walker ? Deep mixed daily roto ?

Jeff Zimmerman: If you want. I think it is a lateral move

UTIL help: Drop JP Crawford and Langford for Manzardo and Rizzo? Points league, K’s are -1

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d hold Crawford for this week, great matchups. Not Rizzo. Langford and Manzardo are close.

Jeff Zimmerman: One note on Manardo, I’m a little pissed he went off today. I like some of his changes in AAA and had him as the 8th best hitter in AAA. Above average K%, BB%, EV and LA.

Jeff Zimmerman: I still think he’s droppable depending on team needs.

Jeff Zimmerman: Nothing yet. I’m just streaming him for min bids when at home.

Ben: Say you have $75 left of your FAAB budget in a 15 teamer and that’s more than average left for the other teams. How much do you spend this week, knowing you might need to hold some for the next 3/4 weeks?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d hold $20 for the last week as you can stream out your entire team. That gives you $55 for the other three. Do the $17 to $18 each week. You may not get the guy but have decent adds.

Jeff Zimmerman: Also, if you are in first place, you will get your last choice of players if making $1 bids. Those can be some shitty ass scrubs.
