Jeff Zimmerman: Cahill’s start today was killer. I haven’t had a chance to look but all the starters listed should be considered streaming options from here on out.

Jeff Zimmerman: Since you need everything, you just have to go by the matchup.

Parts + Gleyber: Cahill’s 6 BBs in 2.2 today had me a little alarmed though I didn’t get to watch it live. He’s got TB this week, but on the road, where he’s struggled. Is it time to jump ship in AL Only?

Jeff Zimmerman: He may be a drop or bench. I’m a little worried he’s hurt again and when he throws hurt, the results are horrible.

Jeff Zimmerman: Since he’s with a playoff team, he could say he’s fine but continue to get lit up.

Trap Gone Hamels: Who do you pick among Melky, Gardner, and Laureano. AL Only, need OBP 1st and RBI 2nd. Thanks!

Jeff Zimmerman: Gardner as long as he continues to play. Crutch as a wrinkle into the Yankees OF mix.

$11 Worth of Taco Bell: Is Ryan O’Hearn worth keeping for $5 in deep 12-team AL OBP roto league?

Jeff Zimmerman: I think so. It’s tough to find keepers in AL-only. I could easily see him go for more than $5 next season if he’s available in the auction.

$11 Worth of Taco Bell: So Wily Peralta is the best bet to be the Royals’ closer next spring, right?

Jeff Zimmerman: I don’t think so. I could see them go and get a Rodney closer type. Maybe even bring Herrera back.

Jeff Zimmerman: Dayton loves his vets like Kyle Farnsworth

Mike: Does Gary Sanchez turn this around? Seeing much of the same since before the DL stint. Not helping the playoff push on the field or in the fantasy world)

Jeff Zimmerman: He still may be hurting and he’s not hitting enough to DH. I’m not sure the answer

Jeff Zimmerman: There are 2 or 3 of them. I’m not in one anymore as they are daily transaction leagues, I just do weekly leagues any more.

Jeff Zimmerman: I never try to guess what Mike Scioscia will do. It’s so random and by the gut.

Jeff Zimmerman: For who? That bullpen is ugly.

Dave P: Should I be thinking about dropping Beltre, D.Gordon, Pollock, E.Escobar or K Calhoun for guys like Piscotty, Voit or Villar? 12 team H2H

Jeff Zimmerman: Possibly. It really comes down to the few matchups. I’d take Piscotty over Calhoun and maybe ride Villar’s hot bat over Escobar.

Jeff Zimmerman: Herrera. Look at the soon to be free agents moved at the trade deadline. I could see Rodney back with the Twins.

Jeff Zimmerman: The problem is that who else will close for them. If other options exist (Hunter), pick them up. If not, keep running Box out there.

Jeff Zimmerman: No. I’m passing. He’s just not a good pitcher.

Jeff Zimmerman: No, I think he is messed up.

SporerFan69: Would you drop Archer for Josh James? It’s an auction keeper, too which would make James $10 to keep; Archer is due to be thrown back, contract wise.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d have James cheap at a $1 or $2. My worry is that James gets the McHugh and Peacock treatment next year and doesn’t start.

Rickey H: What is Camargo next year?  Starting regular or placeholder? Thanks.

Jeff Zimmerman: Placeholder for now. He’s an acceptable starting 3B until Riley forces the Braves hand. I think one will be moved at next year’s trade deadline.  Riley or Camargo could be traded for other pieces.

Francisco Mejia: What are my 2019 stats?

Jeff Zimmerman: Not good, especially if he isn’t catching. .250 AVG with 15 HRs. The Hit tool is just not developing.

Jeff Zimmerman: Allen is #1, then Jankowski. Gore is a nice Monday-Thursday sub. If you have daily lineups, load up your bench and run out who is playing that day.

$11 Worth of Taco Bell: Stay away from Chris Archer this offseason unless dirt cheap?

Jeff Zimmerman: His strikeouts are in play after round 10. I think he’ll be really cheap and could return a decent value

$11 Worth of Taco Bell: Pro Palka?

Jeff Zimmerman: Yes. I think his value and power are sustainable. He as 21 HR in 381 PA. It’s tough to find 30 HR on the WW.

The end of the end: Matt Shoemaker’s only been back for two okay starts – not a lot of hits, but not a lot of K’s. Is he worth holding in AL only? Has SEA and likely OAK next.

Jeff Zimmerman: Yes. He a decent play with so many bad starting pitching WW options.

Frank: Hi Jeff.   Ryu and Trevor Williams are free agents in my NL only.  Would you put in a bid for either and drop Pivetta or Castillo?   I am struggling in eRA and need to make up ground.  kOs are tight too in the standings so gotta watch Ks too.

Jeff Zimmerman: I think Ryu and Pivetta are close in talent. You may need to check the matchups.

AL-only, 10-team: Is Thaiss worth a claim?

Jeff Zimmerman: Gonzales. Waino is done for.

Philip Christy: Should I start Donaldson and bench Correa this week? Correa’s done nothing recently.

Jeff Zimmerman: I don’t like either going forward. I think Correa is still hurt and Donaldson could sit a couple games. If it was only these two, I’d start Correa but don’t feel good about it

The FAAB Four: Carlos Rodon worth keeping at $9 in standard AL only keeper leagues?

Jeff Zimmerman: Again: I never try to guess what Mike Scioscia will do. It’s so random and by the gut.

Tom: Votto faces 6 lefties this week and is in all liklihood playing hurt. Would you consider benching him for a hot bat like Voit or White in a weekly points league?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d have no problems benching Votto at this point. He could head back to the DL at any point.

The FAAB Four: Will Moncada continue to disappoint?

Jeff Zimmerman: He needs to find a way to hit.

Matt: Bruce, Sano, Choi or Yairo Munoz?  Just need some production

Jeff Zimmerman: I was looking at the same group of players in a league. I like Choi and Munoz based on their current playing time. Consider the Orioles Stewart if available.

NL-only, 10-team: Is Jason Vargas worth a claim? Next start vs. Miami, plus 4.19 xFIP in second half…

Jeff Zimmerman: As a low 4.00’s ERA starter, yes. He’s a nice end of the rotation starter
