Welcome to the Daily SP Chart, click here if you’re new to get an idea of what I’m doing with these rankings.
- Mannn, I don’t know with Bradish. His last outing was excellent (7.7 IP/1 ER/12 Ks) after back-to-back Duds. That sort of volatility also explains the Angels offense. They’re just 22nd on the season in wOBA vR, but they have the 2nd-most 10+ R gms (9) and the 2nd-most <=3 R gms (41)!
- Some really good matchups for the streamers (Woodruff, Kay, Holmes, and Rocker) and that is no doubt the driving force behind their recos. Woodruff is coming off the IL and could be limited while the others have all looked pretty bad in the last month.
- Kelly had a nice QS before catching the upside wrath of LAA (5.3 IP/6 ER). WAS also dropped 7 ER on him but he ran off a 2.36 ERA in 5 starts before that. Super wide range of outcomes.
- If you want a glimmer of a hope on King, he is catching ATL at the best time as they sit dead last in wOBA vR over the last month. LAD comes visiting on the weekend, though, so this is still a rough 2-step.
- Speaking of LAD, they are getting some good numbers out of Lauer with a 3.22 ERA/1.03 WHIP over the last month. Unfortunately, it’s only netted 1 W despite going at least 5 IP in 4 of his L5.

Intro
The chart includes their performance for 2026, their opponent’s wOBA versus the pitcher’s handedness, and recently added opponent’s K% (also v. SP handedness), my general start/sit recommendation for 10-team, 12-team, and 15-team (or more) leagues – essentially a shallow, medium, deep league setup – and then a note about some, most, or all depending on the day. If a pitcher only has an “x” in 15-team, it doesn’t mean there’s no potential use in 10s and 12s, but it’s a much riskier stream for those spots.
These are general recommendations for standard 5×5 roto leagues, and your league situation will carry more weight whether you are protecting ratios or chasing counting numbers. I usually won’t have much to write about aces who are locked into our rotations. If you want to discuss someone further, please feel free to leave a comment. I usually do a few sweeps of the comments before game time in case there are time-sensitive questions.
Color Coding:
- Green – Good Matchup (so lower OPS output by the pitcher’s opponent)
- Yellow – OK
- Red – Bad
The Guardians lineup. Is the current version one you should be afraid of in a 10/12 team league?
3 1/2 runs per game since Jose went on the IL, which includes the 8 run Bazzana Bonanza Saturday. The 1927 Yankees have nothing to worry about.
No, def not afraid of them. Not suuuper hot on Kay, but if you wanna bring him there, I see it
Think it’s Bieber today for Toronto, although MLB doesn’t have that yet on the matchups list.
Ah never mind now he’s going Tuesday
Wind:
DET – out to R at 11
CIN – out to R at 11
NYM – out to L at 13, rain too
CHW – out to R at 11
Coors – Out to L at 9 and warm (87*). Wouldn’t count on a pitcher’s duel here
Rain:
PHI/WAS – 80% before, during and after the game. Unlike some other recent games, if they need to reschedule there are options. This is the 1st game of a 4-game series so they could just double up one of the next 3 days. But even if they don’t want to do that, the Phils are back in DC on Sept 15-16th for a series and they both have an off-day on Sept 14th so they could reschedule it to then.
CIN – 35% at 1st pitch but dropping quickly to 5%
CHC/NYM – 77-88% before, during and after the game. As above, the 1st of a 4-game series so they could double up. If they don’t do that, the Cubs have no further series in NY so they’d have to figure out a day some other time. Not going to figure out common days since this seems like an obvious doubleheader scenario.
Make sure to check the weather closer to 1st pitch for more updates on those 2
Yeah, the weather forecast in NYC is not promising, I suspect Monday’s game is postponed until Wednesday as part of a doubleheader. But what do I know?
Official now – Cubs/Mets postponed.
Doubleheader tomorrow.
Cubs were rained out yesterday too so Imanaga going on 7 days’ rest and the bullpen should be fully refreshed too – they only have 1 relief pitcher that has thrown more than once since last Wed (Roberts) and he only threw 24 combined pitches over 2 appearances.
