Starting Pitcher Chart – July 7th, 2025

Daily SP Chart archive
The chart includes their performance for 2025, their opponent’s wOBA rank versus the pitcher’s handedness from this year so far, my general start/sit recommendation for 10-team, 12-team, and 15-team (or more) leagues, and then a note about them. Obviously, there are league sizes beyond those three so it’s essentially a shallow, medium, deep. If a pitcher only has an “x” in 15-team, it doesn’t mean there’s no potential use in 10s and 12s, but it’s a much riskier stream for those spots.
These are general recommendations, and your league situation will carry more weight whether you are protecting ratios or chasing counting numbers. This is for standard 5×5 roto leagues. The thresholds for H2H starts are generally lower, especially in points leagues so I thought there would be more valuable focusing on roto.

| 9 | Brady Singer | CIN v MIA | x | x | x | 88 | 4.36 | 1.34 | 11% | 17th | MIA/COL coming to Cincy is a fantastic setup for him |
| 10 | Richard Fitts | BOS v COL | x | x | x | 28 | 4.50 | 1.25 | 11% | 27th | Solid in 7 IP since his return, but that’s 4 and 3 IP starts |
| 11 | Noah Cameron | KCR v PIT | x | x | x | 56 | 2.56 | 1.01 | 11% | 28th | Has topped 90 pitches just 2x making mostly a 5-and-dive so more a ratio streamer |

| 13 | Shane Baz | TBR at DET | x | x | 97 | 4.33 | 1.25 | 15% | 9th | Baz-Bibee are really tough calls given their matchups; Baz is much better on the road at least (2.91 ERA/1.09 WHIP) | |
| 14 | Zac Gallen | ARI at SDP | x | x | 104 | 5.45 | 1.37 | 13% | 22nd | Just as a bunch of ppl finally cut him in deeper formats, he has an amazing 10-K start… can he keep it going v. this modest SDP lineup? | |
| 15 | Janson Junk | MIA at CIN | x | 37 | 3.62 | 1.13 | 21% | 7th | Bounced back after a dud at SFG and he’s truly been excellent outside of his 2 duds | ||
| 16 | Landen Roupp | SFG v PHI | x | 85 | 3.48 | 1.48 | 11% | 8th | Lucky to have a 1.19 ERA in his L3 w/a horrendous 1.59 WHIP tied to it | ||
| 17 | Tanner Bibee | CLE at HOU | x | 98 | 4.20 | 1.24 | 14% | 16th | Maybe the righty-heavy HOU lineup will favor him? (85 pt. OPS split) | ||

| 19 | Keider Montero | DET v TBR | 56 | 4.02 | 1.39 | 8% | 6th | Unconfirmed, but some sort of bullpen-type gm is happening for the opener | |||

Curious about Flaherty vs TB today? Thanks!
I think he was pushed back to Tues for his start….
Ya Kieder & RP today
Pivetta was pushed to tomorrow because Darvish is making his season debut. Both are tentatively lined up for two-start weeks.
Looks like Hunter Brown also pushed back to Tues….geez.
They don’t want us to have a star-studded Monday!
Heyyy look at Kikuchi finally in a the 3X spot
and you just knooowww he’s gonna rugpull us as soon as we get confident, but we gotta run him
Oh yes I’m expecting that any day now LOL
Looks like Colton Gordon for Houston today instead of Brown
Ty for the heads up! I like him a bit, though not nearly as much as Brown of course
New subscriber and have a question about the Starting Pitcher Chart frequency. I don’t seem to see it on Saturdays and Sundays. Where can I find it or is it just not available those days. Thanks.
I’ve done it some weekends, but not always. M-F is set, but sometimes I don’t have time to put together a weekend one and this particular weekend I decided to take the holiday off
Thanks Paul. Totally understand. Great tool and I appreciate the M-F insights.
Even with the low %BB rate and HR/FB, can’t run Junk today at GABP, right?
It’s definitely a YOLO-type situation to run him as a one-off today. I’m more inclined to run him in a weekly lineup for the 2-step, though
Of course he goes 6 scoreless! If I’d started him, he’d gone 1.2 and given up 7. lol. But seriously, I appreciate your analysis and all that you at FG. Thanks!
