Intro
The chart includes their performance for 2026, their opponent’s wOBA versus the pitcher’s handedness, and recently added opponent’s K% (also v. SP handedness), my general start/sit recommendation for 10-team, 12-team, and 15-team (or more) leagues – essentially a shallow, medium, deep league setup – and then a note about some, most, or all depending on the day. If a pitcher only has an “x” in 15-team, it doesn’t mean there’s no potential use in 10s and 12s, but it’s a much riskier stream for those spots.
These are general recommendations for standard 5×5 roto leagues, and your league situation will carry more weight whether you are protecting ratios or chasing counting numbers. I usually won’t have much to write about aces who are locked into our rotations. If you want to discuss someone further, please feel free to leave a comment. I usually do a few sweeps of the comments before game time in case there are time-sensitive questions.
Color Coding:
- Green – Good Matchup (lower OPS output by SP opponent) – 21st to 30th
- Yellow – OK – 11th to 20th
- Red – Bad – 1st to 10th
The only wind is NYM and MIN – both are across from R to L at 10 and 13.
No rain issues
Have Jones and am loving the ratio bump he provides, but they’re pretty clearly limiting him to 75 pitches. He’s only topped that 3 times with a high of 81. He had to literally be perfect to get a QS. Dude is dealing right now, just going to be tough to rack up Ws and especially QS.
BTW, he lost a “hidden” perfect game in his last start. He was perfect through 6 the start before and perfect through the 1st 8 batters in his last start before Steven Kwan Kwanned a 76 mph “donut hole” line drive to left to break it up.
If you can only throw one this weekend: Boyd or Shota or Gausman (@Bos but on Sunday)? I lean Shota….

First-time reader of this format but it makes a ton of sense– smart! Question (and sorry to be dense) I did not understand what you meant by “(also v. SP handedness)” –meaning I didn’t see where that was addressed; what am I missing?
That means the Opponent K% column is the team’s work v. that pitcher’s hand. So it’s K% vL for KCR against Skubal, not their composite team K%
BTW, Kade Anderson is pitching tonight too for anyone tracking prospects
Anderson tossed 5 perfect innings with 7 Ks. They ended up losing the perfecto with 2 outs in the ninth.
This is getting absurd having him face minor leaguers. . . .
