I’m still kind of new to understanding pitch peripherals and all but I’m not totally understanding all of the Mike Fiers hype. I know about the k rate and IFFBs but I feel like he’s a little similar to Marco Estrada. Is it just a fourth pitch that separates them?
Also, I’m in a 12 team daily roto. Since I can sub daily, I’m thinking about getting a couple of hitters with heavy splits and play them on the correct side of the split at UTIL. Who are some guys to target late in the draft with heavy splits?
The difference between Fiers and Estrada specifically is a great example of the difference between command and control. Fiers commands the ball – puts is exactly where he wants. Estrada is more control-oriented. He pounds the zone, but doesn’t always put it where wants within the zone leaving him susceptible to homers.

Is Heyward struggling on outer half pitches maybe because he stands further back off the plate since being hit? I gotta check that myself. Just a thought though.
Paul I need some help! In a 6×6 with OPS, 12 team head to head 3 keeper league and 18 rounds in our draft. I am keeping Max, and Joey Bautista and I have to decide on a 3rd keeper. I can trade a 12th round pick for Frddie Feeeman and keep him. Or I can keep Crush Davis who is all ready on my roster. What would you do?
