Great podcast, as always, and I do support the idea of making the tagline “great players aren’t interesting.” Quick follow up: both of you thought Hanley was going to be too highly valued going into next year’s drafts/auctions. Can you give some indication of where you are on the Steamer projections for him? They seem pretty good to me, and they’d put him neck in neck with Tulo for most valuable, should both projections turn out right.

Without running a value calculator, really not sure which Steamer projected line is worth more. Steamer seems a bit conservative on Hanley, but fair for Tulo. Since values drop off significantly as you go through the first round and enter the 2nd, there actually is a big difference in value between the two, even if it isn’t obvious. So if I think Hanley is more a mid-2nd round pick, but he actually goes 8, then that’s basically a high $20 player going for mid-$30.
