Hey guys, love the podcast. Maybe a stupid comment so feel free to disregard but… is there any way you can use players’ names more frequently? I often listen to your podcast while working on other stuff, and so I occasionally space out and miss when you change topics. Once you say the player’s name, you tend to just refer to him as “this guy”, “him”, etc. and if I miss it, I have no idea who you’re talking about for several minutes unless I figure it out from context or rewind.

(For example, Buchholz 10:15 to 14:30, Keuchel 18:45 to 22:15)

I think that’s a fair request. I have done that exact same thing before where I literally am rewinding minutes to get caught back up. I listen to my pods while doing other items, as well.

With that said, top flight per usual. 😉

HA! I frequently have this complaint! Yes please mention who you’re taking about more often. Please please please.

I’m on both sides on this. In my opinion, less usage of the name forces listeners to listen to the entire show, intently. Once they hear another name, they know it’s a new player.

Multitasking while listening to podcasts is really tough because I know other baseball podcasts and radio shows do the exact same thing as I listen to them daily. I find it forces me to listen to the show more intently, otherwise I’m only hearing what I am looking for in the show.

Wow, I looked this post up to make this exact same comment. Agree, please say the names more. I mean, even Eno was confused on this one between Latos and Sale.

You guys do an awesome job. Best fantasy baseball podcast hands down.
