Nathan Eovaldi strikes again
Nate had another great outing, shutting down a decent Braves offense in seven innings of work. Eovaldi struck out five, walked one, and allowed a mere three hits. As of last night Eovaldi was owned in less than a third of ESPN leagues, and that needs to change right away. Eovaldi has figured something out, at least for now, and he needs to be owned in any 12-team format. I may be a little biased because I’ve always had quite the fondness for his potential, but Jeff Sullivan has also said nice things.

Felix Hernandez moved back
The King was supposed to start in Yankee Stadium tomorrow, but instead he’s been pushed back due to a rainout, and will start against the Astros on Friday. This is probably good news for Felix owners, even though he has a history of performing well when he heads into New York.

Matt Garza’s boo-boo
Garza jammed his thumb during his start yesterday, and could not make it past three innings of work. Garza struggled before he was injured, and the Brewers believe the right-hander will be able to make his next scheduled start against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Alex Cobb throws
The Rays’ right-hander had himself a bullpen session for the first time since screwing up his oblique, throwing 20 fastballs without discomfort of any kind. Cobb seems to be on track to return to the Rays’ rotation sometime around June 1.

Fun with Arbitrary Endpoints
All stats through Tuesday.

Shelby Miller, July 3, 2013 to present: 108 IP, 93 K, 53 BB, 17 HR; 3.25 ERA, 4.95 FIP
Shelby Miller, yesterday: 6 IP, 1 K, 3 BB, 2 HR, 3 ER

Adrian Gonzalez, 2014: 109 PA, 8 HR, .313/.376/.646
Adrian Gonzalez, second half of 2013: 324 PA, 12 HR, .291/.333/.458

The Fab Five

SP: Mark Buehrle, $9,400
Buehrle faces the Royals in KC.

SP: Ervin Santana, $11,000
In Miami.

1B: Joey Votto, $4,000
Votto may not walk against Estrada and the Brewers, but he could mash a tater at home.

OF: Curtis Granderson, $2,800
1B/OF: Lucas Duda, $3,500
Nothing like Coors to revitalize a season.

Quick question here, any preference on ROS value between Raiji Davis and Chris Colabello?

If you need speed, Davis (and apparently, Det is using him more); if you need power or RBIs-Colabello. personally, I prefer Colabello, since he will have more playing time (as JD Martinez is heating up for Detroit).
