Nathan Eovaldi strikes again
Nate had another great outing, shutting down a decent Braves offense in seven innings of work. Eovaldi struck out five, walked one, and allowed a mere three hits. As of last night Eovaldi was owned in less than a third of ESPN leagues, and that needs to change right away. Eovaldi has figured something out, at least for now, and he needs to be owned in any 12-team format. I may be a little biased because I’ve always had quite the fondness for his potential, but Jeff Sullivan has also said nice things.

Felix Hernandez moved back
The King was supposed to start in Yankee Stadium tomorrow, but instead he’s been pushed back due to a rainout, and will start against the Astros on Friday. This is probably good news for Felix owners, even though he has a history of performing well when he heads into New York.

Matt Garza’s boo-boo
Garza jammed his thumb during his start yesterday, and could not make it past three innings of work. Garza struggled before he was injured, and the Brewers believe the right-hander will be able to make his next scheduled start against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Alex Cobb throws
The Rays’ right-hander had himself a bullpen session for the first time since screwing up his oblique, throwing 20 fastballs without discomfort of any kind. Cobb seems to be on track to return to the Rays’ rotation sometime around June 1.
