12:00

My Drift: Hi Justin, which catcher would you rather roster in a 1 C 12 team roto league F Alvarez or Jeffers?

12:00

Justin Mason: Alvarez. Upside is just too good and with it being a 12-team 1C, there is replacement value when he gets hurt.

12:00

Paulie Eff: is Cags working with KC coaches to increase his LA every day?  When is it time to say enough is enough and move on?

12:01

Justin Mason: I still believe in the talent, but in a shallow league, you can probably move on.

12:01

TJ: Rank the following SP now and RoS , 14 tm 6×6 h2h where pitching categories are: W, WHIP, QS, ERA, K & SV/HLD -> M. Meyer, N. Schultz, M. Gore & M. King

12:02

Justin Mason: King, Meyer, Schultz, Gore

12:02

John: Thanks for taking my question.  Do you think what Okamoto is doing will continue?  And how do you see him moving forward?

12:02

Justin Mason: Saw something that showed that he moved back in the box and a little closer to the plate. This has helped him with breaking pitches which was what was hurting him early in the season. I am buying it.

12:03

South Sider: Andrew Vaughn returns today. Do you see him immediately getting full-time ABs? And will he still play every day when Yelich and Chourio return?

12:03

Justin Mason: I think he gets them initially, but once the team is healthy, it will come down to production.

12:04

Guest: How worried are you about Ketel Marte and Kyle Tucker? Is it time yet to update preseason projections?

12:04

Justin Mason: Not worried on either. Definitely not on Marte who’s just had terrible BABIP luck and has a .300 xBA.

12:04

TJ: A. Riley for M. King & M. Meyer was offered for me, I countered with M. King and M. Gore for A. Riley, am I being too greedy and should take the 1st offer, I think Riley can bounce back, my current #B is Paredes, Offensive categories are: TB, OBP, HR, SB, R & RBI

12:06

Justin Mason: I would prefer the King and Gore one personally

12:06

Boyd Wonder: Matt Boyd was dropped in my 12T roto; worth picking up at the expense of Conor Prielipp? I could also cut one of Garrett Mitchell, Bryson Stott or Travis Bazzana

12:06

Justin Mason: I would cut Mitchell instead.

12:06

Rob A: Hanging on to Jose Berrios like it’s 2021 and I’m Anthony Fauci. SP is at a premium in my 15 team mixed pts so the best alternatives would be Jake Bennett, J.T. Ginn or maybe Braxton Garrett. Or a speculative starter like Ian Seymour or Ben Brown. Who ya got?

12:06

Justin Mason: Give me Garrett or Seymour

12:07

Schilling & Pence: I have both Rutschman and Jensen in a 1C league.  Who do you like better ROS?  Or is it just matchups based?

12:07

Justin Mason: Probably matchups but I lean Rutschman here

12:07

Bobert: Otto Lopez, can he keep this up all year?  Thanks!

12:08

Justin Mason: He won’t keep this up all year, but a lighter version of it, I could definitely see. The underlying skills are fantastic and there is definitely real improvement in the profile.

12:09

Mike D: NL only, have the roster spot, need OF help and picked up Noveli Marte.  Is his call up dependent on Bleday’s peformance? Think he gets the call anytime soon?

12:10

Justin Mason: I think he needs an injury or someone to fall off. The problem is Friedl has been better and Bleday is also hitting well.

12:10

Guest: Any faith that Colt Keith can turn his elite batted ball data into actual power production?

12:10

Justin Mason: I am still a believer, but I always have been

12:10

TJ: 14 tm 6×6 with a 7 start max and SV + HLDS being one of categories, Is Schultz for Palencia a good trade with Schultz being my # 8 starter and my current RP is a duo of Munoz and Scott ?

12:10

Justin Mason: yeah, I think that is fine as long as it’s not a dynasty league.

12:10

Catch a Catcher: Lost Agustin Ramirez in my 12 team roto league and am wondering who to replace him with. I’m streaming Francisco Alvarez in Coors to start the week but I’ve also got Jeffers, Wells, Kelly, Basallo and Yainer Diaz available. Any preference out of that group or should I just stream the hot hand/best matchup?

12:10

Justin Mason: I’d stream Alvarez this week and then pivot to the hot hand or Basallo.

12:11

Oddball Herrera: I am increasingly of the opinion that the only thing standing between Kade Anderson and a promotion is opportunity.  He has somehow outdone Strasburg’s annihilation of the minors

12:11

Justin Mason: Well, they have the rotation depth to let him develop, but I agree that he is going to be up at some point this year.

12:11

South Sider: Standard 5×5 12-team H2H redraft league, would you drop either or both Luis Castillo/Andrew Painter for any of these available options? Ryne Nelson, Matz, Burrows, May

12:11

Justin Mason: I am ok dropping Castillo for Nelson

12:12

TJ: How much regression is Muncy in for? I am considering trading for him, I know he can’t keep up this pace, my current 3B is Paredes, Is the upgrade worth a SP such as Meyer or Schultz ?

12:13

Justin Mason: There will be some, but I don’t think a ton. He has been a much better hitter since getting the corrective eye surgery last year. Health is the only real issue with Muncy. I am ok using Schultz in a redraft to go get muncy

12:13

Cam you dig it: Hi Justin.  Is Cam Smith a hold in 12 team roto?  He has shown some signs of life

12:14

Justin Mason: I think it’s just been some positive regression. The underlying skills are pretty good and there is a ton of upside. Maybe time to buy.

12:14

larry: Looking for some thump–Tork, Jac, or Rumfield and then adding someone for R’s and BA-Kwan, Arrez, Grisham, or Stott. This is for 10t h2h cat. Yahoo league. Thank you

12:14

Justin Mason: Tork for power. Arraez or Kwan for avg/runs

12:14

Peter: Matt McClain – It has been very rough. Could you see them sending him down for a spell (I think that he still has 3 options)?  Bench for someone like N. Nunez? McClain hit 9th yesterday.

12:15

Justin Mason: Im ok benching for Nunez. I think McLain will be better, but at some point we may need to just admit that 2023 was the outlier

12:15

Guest: Hello Mr. Mason! Should I pick up Bazzana to replace McLain in my 6×6 OBP + SLG league? Seems like McLain’s upside just isn’t there like we thought it was

12:16

Justin Mason: Feels lateral, but if it’s free, I dont have an issue with it

12:16

Pete: Rank these closers available on the wire – Jacob Latz, Tyler Phillips, Gus Varland, Ben Joyce, and Jack Perkins.
Thank you kind sir.

12:16

Justin Mason: Latz, Perkins, Varland, Phillips, Joyce

12:16

Guest: Any idea where Bryce Miller ranks once healthy?

12:16

Justin Mason: Top 60 SP with upside if he looks like he’s back to his 2024 form

12:16

Oddball Herrera: Acuna and Tatis – buy low opportunities or “I just paid for past performance + a name” opportunities?

12:16

Justin Mason: Absolutely

12:17

Dave: Hi! I fell victim to “Matt McLain is posting amazing bat speed readings in Spring Training!” and have been piecing things together (with success!) with Caballero so far.  With Volpe getting sent down, it seems like Caballero may have some runway… are there reasons to think what he’s been doing this year is “real”?  Or do I need to make a backup plan ASAP?

12:18

Justin Mason: Clearly the Yankees like Caballero and even if Volpe returns to the Majors or Lombard is brought up, I think Caballero will still have a healthy role.

12:18

Guest: A lot of walks and velocity was down from “peak” Strider. Is there any hope he gets back there or is this just what he is now?

12:19

Justin Mason: I dont care about the walks since it was in Colorado, but the velocity is what I am watching. He was 95-96 early in the outing and then it faded by the third inning. If the velo doesnt improve, he is a shell of his former self.

12:19

South Sider: Better option at SS in an OBP league this week? Willy Adames or just take the zero

12:19

Justin Mason: Point awarded

12:19

Bill: Please rank ROS: Marsee, Kwan, Lee – OBP and SLG formats

12:19

Justin Mason: MArsee, Kwan, Lee

12:19

Tony: Hi, Justin. 12T H2H: Cam Smith, Spencer Steer, or Luis Robert Jr. if healthy?

12:19

Justin Mason: Smith

12:19

Owen: 12 tm roto, should I bench Bryan Woo vs ATL for Bryan Baker? I’m 9th in ERA and trying to protect ratios a bit. Woo has been getting hit hard and his K% is awful despite stable velo and Stuff+

12:19

Justin Mason: yes

12:19

Justin Mason: I worry something is wrong with Woo

12:20

In Big Trouble at Backstop: Hi Justin! 10-team AL only 2 catcher league. Currently am getting NOTHING from Bo Naylor and Quero… worth dropping Quero for David Fry with Teel looming and Quero already losing time?

12:20

Justin Mason: yeah, I think that works

12:20

Jim: AL-only league with SVs and Holds.  Don’t care about ratios or Ks, just saves and holds.  Which two of these do you want?  F Cruz, Doval, Leiter, A Nunez, G Taylor, Zeferjahn

12:20

Justin Mason: Taylor, and Cruz

12:21

Indecisive GM: Much appreciate these chats Justin! I’m in a 10 team H2H points league, and have some positional logjams. Should I try to sell on Dingler (I have Cal but like the insurance policy), or try to deal one of my three SS (Perdomo, McGonigle, Griffin)? I need pitching but none of these players are droppable except perhaps Griffin, but that’s scary.

12:21

Justin Mason: Sell Dingler

12:21

Bruce & E Street: Is Joey Cantillo still a “hold” in a deep 12T mixed roto ?  Logan Henderson is available, as well as Robby Snelling , Braxton Garrett , J.Junk. A.Abbott, C.Scott.

12:21

Justin Mason: Id drop for Henderson

12:22

Rob A: Last week I asked about trading Eldridge for SP in dynasty and I think you talked me out of it. Now that he got the call but not necessarily the Ks under control, I have the feeling that in a year we’re going to be about where we are with Cags right now. Any reason to expect a smoother adjustment?

12:22

Justin Mason: I think the Giants are going to give him run, but I think there will be some growing pains. I am not sold the hit tool is ready

12:22

Justin Mason: Cags has a way better hit tool than Eldridge

12:23

Guest: Would you rather have Carlos Cortes or Jung Hoo Lee 이정후? In a 12-team league (8×8) where the offensive categories are H/AB, R, HR, RBI, BB, K, SB, AVG, OBP, SLG.

12:23

Justin Mason: Lee

12:23

Guest: Looking to sell high on SP.  What kind of hitter could I expect back for Harrison or Messick?  and which would you prefer to deal away?

12:23

Justin Mason: I think id prefer to trade Harrison, but honestly, I would have a hard time doing either without get a top 75 player.

12:23

Ransofast: Who you starting this week: brice mattews, cam smith, leody taveras, Trevor larnach

12:23

Justin Mason: Smith

12:23

Ben: Replace Sproat with – Cavalli, Scott, Nelson? Redraft using K/9, QS

12:23

Justin Mason: Nelson

12:24

TJ: Sorry, think I mis worded, I would be getting A. Riley, I would give up King and Meyer, I would rather give up King and Gore, is Riley worth either of those packages I would be giving up, TB, OBP, RBI, R, SB, HR are categories and my current 3B is Paredes

12:24

Justin Mason: I would rather give up King and Gore

12:24

Guest: In a 10, cut baz or Cabrera for prielipp?

12:24

Justin Mason: I am ok with that, but I feel like you should be able to trade Cabrera

12:24

Mike: How comfortable are you rolling with Tolle, Schultz, and Henderson in 12-team H2H?  What’s the order?

12:24

Justin Mason: Tolle, Henderson, Schultz. I like all three

12:25

Billy: My offense is humming along so my bench is all pitching.  Would you drop your worst pitcher to grab a solid bench hitter just in case, or ride the wave?  Specific example would be dropping a non-closer reliever to get Antonacci or B Matthews.

12:25

Justin Mason: I’d do that for Matthews in a standard league. In OBP its Antonacci

12:25

O: Who would you rank the lowest out of Rooker, Stowers, and JWalker?

12:26

Justin Mason: Stowers

12:26

Guest: I just made a roster bet on Prielipp over Early, you buy that?

12:26

Justin Mason: Prefer Early

12:26

Bruce & E Street: Update on my SP question.  I did add Logan Henderson. I guess he’s a Start vs Yankees ?

12:26

Justin Mason: Im rolling with him in deeper leagues. Not in shallow ones.

12:26

markjd: QS+W for a last bench spot please rank prielipp, sproat, c scott

12:27

Justin Mason: Prielipp, Scott, Sproat

12:27

Tim: Brett Baty has increased the walks but done nothing else lately. He’s looking more like ‘23-24 than ‘25. Still have any hope for him and a possible breakout?

12:28

Justin Mason: I still believe in him long term, but he’s losing playing time and I wouldn’t be surprised if he got sent down to regroup

12:28

Guest: In a 10 team league, which side of William Contreras vs. okamoto would you prefer?

12:28

Justin Mason: Contreras, but closer than it would seem

12:28

dream team: I’m in dead last in a roto keeper league.  I don’t see things getting much better moving forward.  How many weeks til I start sending out trade offers to get younger controllable players?  I was thinking early June.  Thanks!

12:28

Justin Mason: early June seems right

12:28

Marsee: Level of concern?

12:29

Justin Mason: medium

12:29

Andrew Vaughn: Gonna become a good bat?

12:29

Justin Mason: He is!

12:29

Straw: Dingler or Ballesteros rest of season?

12:29

Justin Mason: Ballesteros

12:29

Waylon: Any concerns about Rooker?  Would you target him or Seiya in a trade?

12:30

Justin Mason: No real concerns, but I feel like they are pretty even

12:30

Punk in Drublic: What do you see as the role for Jesus Rodriguez? Does he make much of an impact or does he end up as more of a bench/platoon player?

12:31

Justin Mason: I dont think they are bringing him up to sit. I think he catches on Bailey’s off days and then takes time from Ramos in Left.

12:31

Vince: 12-team H2H, OBP league. My Bellinger and Erceg for his Lindor and Donovan. Do it?

12:32

Justin Mason: Not while Lindor is hurt

12:32

E: Are we reaching the point where Bradish is a drop in even deep league dynasty formats? I haven’t seen anything to give me confidence that he’s got a solution and I’ve got a lot of starters. Same question for Strider too, unfortunately…

12:32

Justin Mason: no, too soon

12:32

RAGBRAI: L Henderson looks like he will stay in the rotation? #3 upside?

12:32

Justin Mason: I think he does

12:32

bndj88: Do you think Adames is done-done? This has been absolutely brutal.

12:32

Justin Mason: He will be better than this

12:32

Sean miller: Was thinking about who Luke keachall reminds me of and maybe a little bit of Brett lawrie? Not as good but decent player

12:33

Justin Mason: I wouldnt comp lawrie, but people were way too high on Keaschall

12:33

Mike: How likely are both Jung and Vargas to be ROS starters in a 12-team H2H?  Statcast looks good.

12:33

Justin Mason: I think they are. Only fear is Jung staying healthy

12:33

bndj88: Assuming he comes soon back as expected, approximately where would you rank Snell among SPs for rest of this year?

12:33

Justin Mason: Top 25-30

12:33

Danny Dimes: Hey Justin, who is the next impact bat called up not named Emerson or Clark?

12:33

Justin Mason: Clark

12:34

RAGBRAI: Bleday any better than a fourth OF? Better than Melendez n NY or Benson?

12:34

Justin Mason: Probably not, but he’s running well right now.

12:34

CatchingHeat: Alvarez, Dingler, Ballesteros, Jeffers or Jensen in a 14 team mixed?

12:34

Justin Mason: Ballesteros

12:34

Mike: Start Cam Smith or the Martian this week?  The Yankees face two lefties and a couple of tough righties, but have seven games.  Cam goes to Cincy at the end of the week:

12:34

Justin Mason: Smith

12:34

Guest: Drop Butler for Delauter? 12 team 5×5

12:34

Justin Mason: yes

12:36

Depressed Giants Fan: Justin, thanks for your time. Wondering if you can impart some advice on a lost and sad giants fan. I am in a 14 team mixed points league (redraft, not keeper). Pitching is king in this league, quality starts are more valuable than wins. I have a solid top of the rotation (albeit volatile) with Chris Sanchez, Luzardo and Cease. After that, it’s more replacement level or streamers. Can you help me stack rank these guys rest of season as a prioritize filling out the bottom of my staff with the waiver wire:  Reid Detmers, Joey Cantillo, Connor Preilipp (Nick P’s boy), Ryne Nelson, Mike Soroka, Junk, Shane Baz. And where would prospect like Robby Snelling fit if called up. THanks so much!

12:36

Justin Mason: Priellip, Nelson, Junk, Snelling, Detmers,Cantillo, Soroka, Baz

12:36

Guest: Sean Burke has had great results, but doesn’t seem like any major changes other than adding a sinker. Underlying metrics are solid though, aside from a dip in Ks. Are you buying, and if so, what league size is he worth a pickup in?

12:37

Justin Mason: I am not really a buyer. He is locating better, but he is allowing a lot of contact and getting lucky in the BABIP. Things will regress. Maybe a better version of last year, but not this good

12:37

Insert Witty Name Here: Is there a big gap at catcher between Langeliers, Herrera, Rushing and Basallo? And do you think Ballesteros is going to get C eligibility, if so, where would he be?

12:39

Justin Mason: Langeliers is way above this group the rest are close together with Herrera, Basallo, Ballesteros being a bit above Rushing due to playing time concerns

12:39

Mike: Is Steer a worthwhile add in a 12-team H2H, 5 OF league.  It seems like settling for a good not great player, rather than going for a higher-upside option this early.  Also, if both Friedl and Steer are on the wire, which do you prefer)

12:39

Justin Mason: I prefer Friedl but both feel like about replacement level

12:39

Tim: Is there anything you’re seeing in Jose Fernandez that makes you think there’s anything more going on than an empty AVG? Only 1 HR and 1 SB since the debut. xAVG is at .260 and RR has him on the short side of a platoon. I’m thinking he’s the drop when Mookie returns.

12:39

Justin Mason: I am not a believer

12:39

Nate: In my 12-tm H2H (6×6 OBP vs. AVG, XBH is 6th cat) wondering if any of these guys are upgrades over Colt Keith at 2B: Gleyber, Stott, McNeil, Brooks Lee, Rafaela or do I just stick with Keith Colt? It’s rough out there at 2B!

12:40

Justin Mason: Im sticking with Colt

12:40

Mike: What to make of Bazzana so far?  Seems to hit the ball hard, walk a lot, and steal bases?

12:41

Justin Mason: Profiles as an accumulator with decent speed and a great approach. Maybe like 10/20 rest of the way with a mediocre average but a plus OBP

12:41

Mike: Between Painter, Leiter, Tolle, Schultz, Henderson, and Meyer, what is the correct order of preferences?

12:41

Justin Mason: Painter, Tolle, Meyer, Leiter, Henderson, Schultz.

12:41

Justin Mason: like all of them though

12:41

martin: 12 tm redraft      Do u think that Vaugn Grissom can have a breakout season for himslef

12:42

Justin Mason: Loving the contact skills but getting lucky and there isn’t a ton of power or speed.

12:42

Guest: why the heck am I even remotely considering dropping Teoscar to make room when Barger’s back

12:43

Justin Mason: I wouldn’t do that.

12:43

Nate: Is Augustin Ramirez a cut in redraft formats without a deep bench (i.e. the NFBC 7 bench slots or less)? Painful to cut a top 100 pick, but tough to burn that roster spot waiting…Thanks Justin!

12:43

Justin Mason: If I had a roster crunch, I would, but I would try and hold if I was healthy

12:44

Jay: With Agustin Ramirez being optioned, who’s the best C to stream steals against now?

12:44

Justin Mason: Tampa Bay has been the best team to run against outside of the Marlins

12:45

Guest: Needing saves.  Are there any current non-closers that you think have a good chance for saves this season?

12:47

Justin Mason: Rico Garcia now that Helsley is hurt. Kyle Finnegan with Jansen banged up. Sam Bachman for the Angels, Tony Santillan in Cincy

12:47

Guest: With Agustin Ramirez being sent to AAA I need a new catcher, options are Diaz, Jeffers, Basallo, Realmuto or Sanchez, 5×5 12 team

12:47

Justin Mason: Basallo

12:47

Guest: Drop one: butler, dominguez, lowe and eldridge

12:47

Justin Mason: Lowe

12:48

Guest: I’ve dug myself a hole in WHIP, down to 2nd to last in a shallow mixed.  How do I dig out – need to get from 1.3 to 1.2 just to get back in the middle of the pack.  It’s a start Mac league (180) with no max IP.  Do I pile on good relievers and cultivate the most premium starts I can?  A corollary – if you can’t trust the likes of Eury @SFG, should I just dump him and stream best matchups I can find week to week?  Or do I overpay in a trade for an elite SP?

12:48

Justin Mason: I wouldnt mind overpaying for an elite SP. Pitching is just going to get harder as the summer heats up. I am not dropping eury though

12:48

martin: moball, carlos cortes, mig vargas josh jung.     you believe in which ones

12:48

Justin Mason: I believe in all of them to some extent. Ballesteros most then Jung

12:49

Sactown: Would you trade Muncy(LA), Carroll and King for Yordan, Manny and Patrick? thank you

12:49

Justin Mason: No

12:49

MF Luder: Sell high on Emerson Hancock? Or do you think he’s legit?

12:49

Justin Mason: I think he is somewhat legit, but if I could get a top 50 player for him I would.

12:49

Bob: Adames is really struggling, would you still keep him and hope he puts it back together?  H2H points with K penalty

12:49

Justin Mason: I think he will turn it around

12:49

Bruce & E Street: Addison Barger ( should be back in days) or Nate Lowe ? 12T deep daily mixed roto   TY

12:49

Justin Mason: Barger

12:49

Mike D: NL only, start A Vaughn this week at DH or L Hicks?

12:50

Justin Mason: Vaughn

12:50

Dave: What’s your level of concern for Agustin Ramirez’s future?

12:50

Justin Mason: Fairly low, but I dont think hes a catcher for much longer

12:50

Guest: Related to the earlier question, is cam smith a fair return for e Cabrera?

12:50

Justin Mason: I think you should be able to get more

12:50

Broken Bat: 4×4 15t Keith or Burger? I think the trade off is RBi. Neurther runs but Keith has 35 pts better in average. What is spread on rbi ROS? Burger 55- 40 or bigger spread or less?

12:50

Justin Mason: Keith

12:50

Ken: Thanks for the chat Justin. For a 5×5 roto this week, I could start 1 or 2 of Harrison at NYY, Dollander at PHI, Lugo vs CLE. How would you rank these options?

12:51

Justin Mason: Harrison, Lugo, Dollander

12:51

Lord Thunder: Fernando Tatis Jr. will end up with — HRs in 2026?

12:51

Justin Mason: 24

12:51

Bobby Ayala: 15 mixed keeper league (OPS HR R RBI SB). What’s a realistic CI/MI ask for Devers?

12:51

Justin Mason: I wouldnt buy. If I was selling, I would take 75 cents on the dollar

12:52

Rich K: Logan Henderson’s Stuff+ (101) is just average, but his results in a limited MLB sample have been great. Where would you rank him among SP’s ROS; is he must-roster in a 12-team mixed 5X% league; and would you prefer him or Dollander ROS? Thanks!

12:52

Justin Mason: Top 60. Prefer him over Dollander because of Coors

12:52

bdubs: 12 team mixed, traditional roto, Lindor out…prefer Swanson, O Lopez or Montgomery?

12:52

Justin Mason: Lopez

12:52

Guest: Is bradish injured or cooked?

12:52

Justin Mason: Neither, but struggling

12:52

chaz: Thanks for these chats, Justin! In a 12-team, dynasty auction 6×6 h2h league. Just traded deGrom for Trout (which would have been an insane blockbuster in 2018). Stupid move on my part? I’m beginning to second guess myself.

12:52

Justin Mason: I dont think its stupid if you needed the pitching

12:52

Justin Mason: hitting I mean

12:53

Peter: Adley R. or Sal P. ROS in a 12 team 1 C 5×5 Roto?  Thanks!

12:53

Justin Mason: Sal

12:53

TooDamnTall: If you rostered Ildemaro Vargas, how long of a cold spell would it take to drop him?

12:53

Justin Mason: A week

12:53

Matt: Need a 5th starter. You going with Painter v ATH, Warren v TEX or McClanahan v TOR?

12:53

Justin Mason: Warren

12:53

Danny Dimes: Hey Justin – better bet for this year – Josh Baez or James Tibbs?

12:53

Justin Mason: Baez

12:53

Guest: Would you trade away CJ Abrams and King for Tatis Jr? Ryne Nelson and Bubic are both FAs in this league.

12:53

Justin Mason: YES

12:53

MF Luder: Any chance Jake Bennett sticks around in the Boston rotation?

12:54

Justin Mason: Not with Gray returning

12:54

Matt: With Augustin down in a 5X5 OBP league, can you order Rushing, Jeffers, Diaz and Basallo moving forward?

12:54

Justin Mason: Basallo, Diaz, Rushing, Jeffer

12:54

Straw: How much more rope should I be giving PCA? The rough start plus last year’s poor finish have me ready to move on. Brian Reynolds was just dropped and Carlos Cortes also available.

12:54

Justin Mason: This is who he is. Don’t drop during the cold streak because a hot one will happen

12:54

Kevin: Can we drop Jaren Durran in 12 teamers? Is he actually starting to come alive?

12:54

Justin Mason: I am not doing that yet

12:54

Guest: Who do you prefer ROS, Torkelson or Caglianone?

12:54

Justin Mason: Tork

12:54

Dave: Would you sit Devin Williams in Coors this week?

12:54

Justin Mason: probably not

12:55

Guest: t75 for Harrison, t50 for Emerson? I must be in the stingiest trading leagues

12:55

Justin Mason: I don’t think youll get that, but I think you should ask

12:55

Guest: Hi Justin! Roster crunch coming. Would you hold Travis Bazzana or Luke Keaschall if you could only roster one in a 12-team 5 x 5 redraft league? Thanks!

12:55

Justin Mason: Bazzana

12:55

2 catcher league: Drop Caratini for Jesus Rodriguez?

12:55

Justin Mason: sure

12:55

Cutting up rough: Sounds like you’re hot and cold on Tolle. Him or Gavin Williams ROS? Is it time to sell Tolle in al only?

12:56

Justin Mason: Tolle but it’s close

12:56

Reynaldo Lopez: Is there any reason to keep me?

12:56

Justin Mason: no

12:56

whitaker: Is Eldridge a must pick-up in 12 team OBP league? Tough park and horrid lineup…

12:56

Justin Mason: He probably should be picked up, but not by every team

12:56

Matt: Was I crazy to cut Lindor in Ottoneu? He was $42, a questionable keeper to start with, then the slow start. I needed salary cap space and had other MI options and was definitely not keeping next year anyway

12:56

Justin Mason: Feels crazy

12:56

TJ: Looking to sell high on SP.  What kind of hitter could I expect back for M. King ? Top 60, 70, 80, 90 100 ?

12:57

Justin Mason: 80

12:57

Skinny Pete: Start Harrison vs NYY or Peralta at COL this week?

12:57

Justin Mason: Peralta

12:57

Yuuuuge: In 10-team H2H points league, I drafted Keaschall faily high.  Would you give him a few more weeks or drop for someone like B. Donovan (when healthy)?

12:57

Justin Mason: Im fine moving on

12:57

Insert Witty Name Here: Would you offer someone like Luzardo, Sanchez, or Mclean for Tatis in a QS/OBP league?

12:58

Justin Mason: Luzardo I would. I love McLean and Sanchez too much

12:58

Thomas: In a shallow mixed keeper, would you deal away what would be a $1 Jordan Walker for Matt Olson?  Purely a question of whether Walker’s K% craters his value.

12:58

Justin Mason: I would take Olson in a heartbeat here

12:58

DJ: After Miz how would you rank the Brewers current rotation in terms of rest of season fantasy appeal for points leagues (Harrison, Henderson, Patrick, Sproat)?

12:58

Justin Mason: All super interesting guys. Harrison, Patrick, Henderson, Sproat

12:59

Salty: If Colt Keith ran to the batters box before the PH announcement is made, would DET be forced to make him take the at-bat vs a LHP?  I get struggles in a platoon way, but the fact he only has 6 ABs vs them makes it seem like he’s a threat to himself and society in general if they let him hit against a left-hander.

12:59

Justin Mason: Point awarded

12:59

Indecisive GM: Thanks again for your time! 10team h2h points redraft, would you recommend picking up Bradish or Sheehan and dropping any of Tolle, Harrison or Taj?

12:59

Justin Mason: Im not dropping any of those guys

12:59

Cutting up rough: Bench bat in AL only, OBP league, daily moves. Could you rank Austin Hays, Schneeman, and Taveras? Thank you!

12:59

Justin Mason: The order you listed them is the correct one

1:00

Dave: 12-team mixed, 1-C, keeper; league right now I’m keeping Carter Jensen around to caddy for Sal Perez in my catcher spot.  How do you feel about that sort of strategy vs using the roster spot on a prospect (e.g., Lombard or the aforementioned Kade Anderson) or other flier (Ha-Seong Kim 김하성 on the IL, Colt Keith, etc.)?

1:00

Justin Mason: I am ok with that so you can optimize your lineup
