Notable Workloads
•Carlos Estévez, LAA: 34 pitches on Sunday. | RosterResource
Reynaldo López is the top option to close with Matt Moore likely unavailable on Monday as well after 28 Sunday pitches. Jacob Webb and José Soriano are also possible.
•Yimi García, TOR: Three straight days; 14 pitches on Sunday. | RosterResource
It’s unclear if newly-acquired Jordan Hicks will report in time for Monday’s game, so a save chance could fall to Erik Swanson or Tim Mayza.
•Josh Hader, SDP: 31 pitches on Sunday; 18 pitches on Saturday. | RosterResource
Robert Suarez worked back-to-back days in just his fifth appearance off the IL, so he might not be available Monday either. Steven Wilson, Nick Martinez, Tom Cosgrove, and Tim Hill are all options.
•Camilo Doval, SFG: 20 pitches on Sunday; 25 pitches on Saturday. | RosterResource
Tyler Rogers is also unlikely to be available after 25 pitches Sunday, which could leave Taylor Rogers, Scott Alexander, or Luke Jackson to close.

Outlier Saves
•Carlos Hernández, KCR | RosterResource
Scott Barlow tossed 41 pitches between Saturday and Sunday, so Hernández went out there for a third straight day. He issued a one out walk but ultimately looked sharp in the inning, with a couple strikeouts on the way to his first career save. His 3.57 ERA may be a little misleading, as his FIP is now 2.28 and his xERA entering the game was 3.35. He could find himself on the move in the coming days.
Some buzz he could be moving in the next few days… https://t.co/ZFUSf0E45E

•JoJo Romero, STL | RosterResource
Over at RosterResource, we’re listing Giovanny Gallegos as the sole closer in the aftermath of the Jordan Hicks trade, so this still qualifiers as an outlier save, though Gallegos did pitch the seventh and eighth. Romero dispatched the Cubs with little issue, striking out two batters for his first save of the year. He should have an extended audition with the Cardinals now that they’ve moved Hicks and Chris Stratton and will need to cover those bullpen innings with a more ragtag bunch.
