Click Projections in the header bar at the top of any page:

Click on your preferred system and you’ll find ADP listed in the final column on the far right:

There you go! I’m really excited about this addition to the site and want to thank Tim over at Fantrax.com for reaching out and helping us implement the feature.

Semi-related, we’re looking to get SV+HD as a category on the auction calculator. We’ve heard your questions on that and it’s being looked at. Stay tuned!

Is there a way to get a SD of ADP or do folks have a way they estimate it beyond min/max pick?

From what I understand, NFBC and STATS don’t make super-granular data available yet. I’ve been trying to track it, but since the drafts aren’t evenly spaced out, you couldn’t even use ADP over time to back out an SD.

What I’ve done in the past is assume that min/max is equal to 1.65 standard deviations (95% confidence interval). Based on this assumption, I can generate the probabilities that a given player will still be available at my next pick in the draft.

Curious to get feedback on that approach…

@sabrtooth: FWIW, I don’t know if there will ever be super-granular NFBC data. Greg Ambrosius told me they don’t even store their data, which is heartbreaking. Maybe one day, but it doesn’t seem like a priority.

Edit: I just saw a commenter below say it’s NFBC’s last year with STATS. So that’s promising!

This is pretty awesome. For next year, if it’s possible to license the data from STATS or NFBC, getting the ADP over time would provide some awesome insight into market perception of players over draft season.

I’ve been doing the same thing, but hoping there was more available. Thanks for the reply!

This will be the last year NFBC is partnered with STATS. NFBC never was a high priority in terms of STATS’s IT IMO. Hopefully the new relationship will yield better information.

Somewhat off topic.

How does the auction calculator modify, if at all, roster positions when keepers are included. For instance, if my league allows for 6 starting pitchers and each team is keeping a starting pitcher, should it be readjusted to 5? This might already occur on the back end. Thanks!

Is there a way to get the auction calculator to list the projected stats instead of the projected mRBI, mHR, etc??

Also is there a way to edit the stats in case we disagree with the projections?

Does the ADP column on the Auction Calculator filter to leagues with similar settings? My guess is that it doesn’t on account of that data not being available, but a guy can hope, can’t he?

ADP as an exportable feature AND a saves plus holds category, I’m glad I was sitting down!

I have a couple of questions for everyone. Thus is my first year playing fantasy baseball with some friends. We have no money values on players. We get 30 players.I have the 2nd pick in 1st round.Assuming Trout goes first,I am on the fence about Betts,Kershaw,or Altuve.I know it’s about hitting but also puching.Leaning towards Kershaw???I would love some input. Also how many pitchers should I draft starters & Relievers.
Thanks I know it might sound to basic. But I have to start somewhere ,and our draft is this Monday.

Count me as another patently waiting on saves plus holds in the auction calculator.
