Hey guys, I am heading out on vacation today:
I leave you in the capable hand of Mike Werner and Keith Farnsworth. Hopefully they don’t burn the place down in my absence.
On the Agenda:
1. Closer Chaos
2. Various News and Notes
3. Streaming Pitchers
Closer Chaos
Kenyan Middleton was placed on the 10-Day DL with an elbow injury. The move is retroactive to April 28th. Middleton told reporters that he hopes to return after a minimum stay, but we know how that can work out. Cam Bedrosian is the leading candidate to fill in until he returns.
Various News and Notes
Chance Sisco left Tuesday’s game after running face first into Pedro Alvarez.

It appears he may have avoid serious injury as he was diagnosed with a facial contusion. Consider him day-to-day at this time.
Miguel Sano was placed on the 10-Day DL with a hamstring injury. Sano missed a couple games in a row attempting to avoid the DL, but the Twins were forced to make a move when he wasn’t ready to return. The injury doesn’t appear to be too serious and the move is retroactive to April 28th, so he could be back in a little over a week.
Jordan Montgomery was pulled from his start on Tuesday after experiencing elbow tightness in the first inning. This does not sound good and Montgomery is scheduled to leave the team and go back to New York for further tests. Domingo German will likely take his spot in the Yankees rotation.
Scott Kingery was hit in the hand with a pitch in Tuesday’s game. He did not leave the game and was diagnosed with a bruised hand. Consider him day-to-day at this time.
Johnny Cueto has hit the DL for the second time this season. This time it is for an elbow issue which is very concerning. There is not much info, but this does not sound good at all. He has been fantastic when he has pitched, but has struggled through injuries the first month. Keep an eye on the timetable/diagnosis.
Streaming Pitchers Options
A pitcher for today: None
I like Andrew Heaney, but the Orioles are much better against lefties than righties.
A pitcher for tomorrow: None
There are really not any good options.
Here is the transcript of the chat for the week. A lot of “when to sell” questions. I will be on vacation next week, so no chat.

Here is the transcript of my Tuesday chat!

: Hey everyone! Let’s have a fun chat. Be patient and I will try and answer every question I can. Do not repeat questions. If you wait, I will most likely get to it. |
| 9:00 |
: In a 7×7 10-team keeper league with Total Bases and OBP, would you roster any of Odubel, Dahl, Michael Taylor, or Franchy Cordero over Dexter Fowler? Thanks! |
| 9:01 |
: I would probably roster most of them, if not all over Fowler. |
| 9:01 |
: What are your thoughts on Gausman potentially sacrificing velocity early on in games for additional sink/run. Last night against the Indians, he was consistently working down in the zone with good movement and was able to reach back for 95-97 when he needed it. Seems as though he’s really working on actually “pitching” instead of being the thrower that he was when he first came up. If last night’s start wasn’t a sign of encouragement, then I don’t know what is. |
| 9:01 |
: Last night was very encouraging. Need to see him continue to do it on a regular basis, but I am a sucker for him. |
| 9:01 |
: Trade Porcello for Thames? |
