The Twins really seem to like Ryan Jeffers. Unlike Paul, I’d temper my bidding on Garver accordingly.

As most catchers split a season with another catcher, Garver returning is probably still only 300 ABs, depending on his success. So while Paul didn’t explicitly mention Jeffers, the inherent splintering of ABs for catchers was most likely assumed. That means tempering what was said doesn’t account for the assumption they clearly should have mentioned because I too thought about Jeffers when they made the comment.
