Haven’t heard the pod yet but last night I traded Nolan Arenado and Ken Giles for Aaron Judge and Jose Berrios in a keeper. It’s the league I pay attention to least and there’s no money involved; not sure I’d do it in my main league but I don’t mind the deal.
as always great listen. the audio levels were the spot on. yall both sounded clean.
I think that trade is fine given the weird rules of Eno’s league (batter Ks, and LF/CF/RF specific slots). But if you take that away, I’m not trading Judge in the 25th for Trout in the 7th straight up, nevermind with Sale, etc., if there is any sort of round inflation involved as there generally is in leagues of this nature.
Is lemahieu too much to give for gray? Thanks. You’re podcasts are number one.
Good topic and you and Eno are the perfect duo to ask a follow up question to on this juiced baseball topic. Has this change in the baseball affected some specific pitchers and or pitches? You touched on the high number of blisters as an affect. I am starting to wonder if pitchers like Tanaka and Gausman are not able to get the same spin rate on these balls. Or maybe its the opposite and the new seams give it too much bite and they have to take something off it just to keep it in the zone, thus making it more hittable. Lastly has there been specific pitches such as the splitter or sinker that have seen a decrease in swinging strikes?
as always, keep on rocking in the rotoworld
