Don’t know why Paul was pushing the Carson Fulmer narrative on the White Sox near term future closer, when it seems pretty clear they have Zack Burdi currently fast tracked for that role already (AAA at 21).

I just don’t buy Fulmer as SP
I agree with that. I just think Burdi would be ahead of Fulmer for that role, and it’d probably happen much later (they’ll give Fulmer more of a chance starting). I’d have Burdi as the current frontrunner, and even if he didn’t get it, I’d have to think any of the other three failed starters (potentially Kopech, Hansen, Lopez) would also be in front of Fulmer for eventual closer duties.
Regardless, this is one crazy pitching prospect list for a single team.
