DRAFT BOARD

This is our raw feed for about 1.5 hours discussing our picks back and forth. It’s not like the normal podcast, but I think it’s still an interesting listen. Definitely let me know what you think in the comments or Twitter as I may consider something similar for other drafts I have coming up next month.

We have a new email address for questions: sleeperpod@gmail.com. Send your fantasy-relevant questions. You can send keeper questions, but those are much better for Twitter. Questions most likely to get selected are those that apply more broadly, as opposed to specific trade or keeper queries. However, if you do ask a league-specific question, please include the league size and categories.

I believe Stephania is actually a Giants fan

Hey Paul ~ why the love for Correa over Donaldson at #9? I would say that last season was a career year for Donaldson, but you are still looking at a 30+ HR and 100+ RBI guy. More of the upside with Correa? Position scarcity? Or just not trusting Donaldson to come close to last season’s numbers?

PS, I passed on Donaldson as well, at number 11, so clearly the room was all gunshy about paying for the presumed career year.

Which then really begs the question, is he being over-valued in drafts this year? I ask specifically cause I have him to keep or Mookie Betts. And I believe that 2015 was a career year and Mookie has yet to reach his full potential.

That 16 minute mark is pure radio gold! Looking forward to hearing if my late-round Tigers/Rays grabs had the same effect. Good luck, boys!

I really enjoyed it, though I would imagine the second person is crucial for their banter and additional insight.
