Question: why don’t people think about Darvish by adding back a replacement middle relievers stats during the downtime?
IP +15-20; K’s + 15 , etc
So, if he pitches 160 innings + 20, you can reasonably expect 180-200+ K’s for the slot, with SP2 metrics…… In an AL only league, that’s hugely valuable. The following year, you’ve got an ace with TJ pricing, assuming a keeper league.
I understand TJ rebounds carry risk, but at least for Darvish this seems a no brainier bet, given current market pricing.
