Here’s a fun one, I think…
My league allows you to keep a drafted player for one year in the round you drafted him. So I naturally took Eury Perez in the final round to stash away for next season. I’m a believer.
So I have a post-draft lottery pick spot to fill for most of 2025. Who’s your grip-it and rip-it guy, innings limits be damned?
I am thinking someone like Mize or Rocker, but if a guy like Jobe or Painter made the squad, I’d probably go that way. This is a non-drafted player, so no keeper considerations apply.
Rocker seems to have the highest immediate ceiling being it appears he has a rotation spot to start the season. If he gets traction you might find him a plus performer for most of the season. As a side note, seeing your grip and rip question Rocker immediately jumped into my mind, and nobody else.
