Hey Paul and Justin,
I’d love some advice on setting my keeper lineup. Our budget is $325 and I have about $70 earmarked for pitchers. Depending on which batters I keep, I should have between $65-85 for the draft, which I need to spend on 8 spots (2 bench bats, 3 SP, 3 RP), so I’m feeling pretty set overall. The main decision I have is who to keep as my 1B and 3B starters.
C Smith $10
1B Abreu $33 OR Hoskins $25??
2B Torres $4
3B Arenado $44 OR Bregman $31??
SS Lindor $35
MI Estrada $4
CI Rizzo $7
OF Betts $40
OF Acuna $20
OF Varsho $5
OF Carroll $2
DH Jung $3
Bench – 1B/OF Kirilloff $6
Bench – draft
Bench – draft
What are your thoughts on Abreu vs Hoskins and Arenado vs Bregman? Spend more for the better bat, or are they close enough in production that I go with the cheaper option?
This is a 10-team league, and I’m expecting to be in the top 4 based on previous years and the strength of my roster. Thanks!
