2. Casual Weather
CHC at CIN- Cincy has a slight chance of rain.

MIL at PIT- Pittsburgh also has a slight chance of rain.

KC at DET- There is a slight chance of rain in Detroit, but it seems pretty safe.

NYM at BOS- Boston will likely have rain in the afternoon, but it sounds like it should clear up by game time. Delay risk, but it should play.

 

3. Favorite Stacks
Left-handed Tigers versus Jorge Lopez – Lopez has great stuff, but when he leaves it in the zone it gets crushed. This is a nice matchup for a contrarian play.

Mets bats versus Matt Hall – Hall can strike guys out, but when he is not doing that, he gives up a lot of long balls and walks. Everyone is at play, especially right handed bats.

Left-handed Athletics versus Antonio Senzatela – Senzatela walks a lot of guys and gives up bombs at home and on the road.

Left-handed Rockies versus Daniel Mengden – In spite of possessing an 80-grade mustache, Mengden struggles to keep the ball in the yard and likely won’t last long.

 

4. Favorite Hitting Plays
Catcher (Expensive) Will Smith vs HOU
Catcher (Punt/Value): Sal Perez vs DET – This feels like a pricing mistake, but Perez is only $2,800 on DraftKings. He will be chalky, but I’ll take it still. Also consider Manny Pina.

1B (Expensive): Peter Alonso at BOS
1B (Punt/Value): CJ Cron at KC – Already has two bombs and gets a nice matchup here versus the Royals. Also consider Miguel Cabrera and Justin Smoak.

2B (Expensive): Whit Merrifield vs DET
2B (Punt/Value): Ty France vs SF – There must be a reason that the Giants have waited to pitch Shark, right? France is super cheap and worth the punt play. Also consider Jonathan Schoop.

3B (Expensive): Rafael Devers vs NYM
3B (Punt/Value): Colin Moran vs MIL – Moran is hot right now and still cheaply priced. Also consider Maikel Franco and Nick Solak.

SS (Expensive): Xander Bogaerts vs NYM
SS (Punt/Value): Aldaberto Mondesi – Mondesi has a ton of upside and is very cheap in a nice matchup. Is this where he wakes up?

OF (Expensive): Jorge Soler at DET, Mike Trout vs SEA, JD Martinez vs NYM
OF (Punt/Value): Enrique Hernandez at HOU. Hernandez has been much better versus lefties in his career and gets Framber Valdez today. Also consider Cristin Stewart vs KC, Justin Upton vs SEA, Ryan Braun at PIT, Avisail Garcia at PIT.

Cash Games: Kyle Gibson vs ARI, Homer Bailey vs STL, Zach Davies vs SF

Tournament: Patrick Sandoval vs SEA, Jeff Samardzija vs SD, Josh Lindblom at PIT

Contrarian Plays: Carlos Martinez at MIN, Derek Holland vs MIL
