Jeff Zimmerman: He may not be. I don’t have a good read on league’s that shallow.

Gorky: Drop Luis Castillo for Manaea or sit tight in 10-team mixed?

Jeff Zimmerman: Sit tight … maybe … I’d try to own both but I understand some roster crunch.

Rg: Please rank… JFlaherty, Stratton, Velasquez, Ryu?

Jeff Zimmerman: Flahery, Velasquez *(upside), Ryu (safe), Stratton

Rg: Quintana and Stroman starts concerning or ride it out?

Jeff Zimmerman: Both have issues throwing strikes. I’d bench until they can find the plate.

Taylor: Would you drop fulmer or luchessi for flaherty, Ross, or buehler?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d take a chance on Buehler and drop Fulmer. If the three are available now, you can come back later and find a replacement if needed.

JWR: Time to give up on Robinson Chirinos?  Thinking of dropping him for Kurt Suzuki.

Jeff Zimmerman: Feel free to churn the backend of catcher pool

Jeff Zimmerman: Tough call but personally, I’d be less mad if I loss to Jansen than lost because I started Hellickson

Ivan C: Sonny Gray was dropped in my 12-teamer. Is he worth a hefty chunk of FAAB (10% or more)?  With his velocity way down and no control, do you think a DL stint is coming? Boone is denying any physical or mechanical issue.

Jeff Zimmerman: Who else do you expect to show up who may be better? I’d could see going over 10%

The real Lars: Do you like Ian Desmond?  When Adam Eaton returns would you cut him, Aaron Hicks or Michael Brantley?

Jeff Zimmerman: I like Desmond but he’s tough to own right now. Of the choices, I’d drop him over the other two.

Larry: Byron Buxton:  beast or bust ROS?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d lean to the bust side.

JT: I have Shaw, Chapman and Cruz for 3B and utility – who sits?

Jeff Zimmerman: Let me look at the matchups.

Jeff Zimmerman: More like Simmons IMO. Definitely a glove-first guy.

Jeff Zimmerman: Jones yes. I’m not going to guess what is going to go down in SF.

Jeff Zimmerman: Ross. I think Ross will be decent when healthy.

Jeff Zimmerman: This group of similar pitchers all have different traits to bring to the table. Junis with decent WHIP, Ross with K’s, etc. Find your need and go with the one who provides it.
