Starting Pitcher Chart – June 2nd, 2025

Daily SP Chart archive
The chart includes their performance for 2025, their opponent’s wOBA rank versus the pitcher’s handedness from this year so far, my general start/sit recommendation for 10-team, 12-team, and 15-team (or more) leagues, and then a note about them. Obviously, there are league sizes beyond those three so it’s essentially a shallow, medium, deep. If a pitcher only has an “x” in 15-team, it doesn’t mean there’s no potential use in 10s and 12s, but it’s a much riskier stream for those spots.
These are general recommendations, and your league situation will carry more weight whether you are protecting ratios or chasing counting numbers. This is for standard 5×5 roto leagues. The thresholds for H2H starts are generally lower, especially in points leagues so I thought there would be more valuable focusing on roto.

---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Joe Ryan | MIN at ATH | x | x | x | 63 | 2.57 | 0.83 | 26% | 12th | This is the kinda venue that can eat Ryan up, but there’s no way I’d skip this |
2 | Logan Webb | SFG v SDP | x | x | x | 73 | 2.82 | 1.21 | 22% | 16th | Ks are back in a big way with a career-high 28% K |
3 | Jack Flaherty | DET at CHW | x | x | x | 59 | 3.94 | 1.11 | 22% | 30th | Wanna see him pop off here with tough end of the Chicago double-dip awaiting him this wknd (CHC at home) |
4 | Dustin May | LAD v NYM | x | x | x | 55 | 4.20 | 1.24 | 16% | 8th | Seems only right for him to do well in May w/a 23% K-BB (deserved better than his 4.48 ERA/1.25 WHIP) |
5 | Richard Fitts | BOS v LAA | x | x | x | 20 | 2.70 | 1.10 | 11% | 24th | Definitely want him for this one and I’m probably running the 2-step (at NYY 😬 ) in at least 15s |
6 | Max Meyer | MIA v COL | x | x | x | 59 | 4.53 | 1.36 | 17% | 29th | Didn’t take advantage of his last “get right” start (5 ER at CHW), but he’s been fantastic at home |
7 | Brady Singer | CIN v MIL | x | x | x | 58 | 4.60 | 1.33 | 10% | 25th | Results are OK since 7 ER dud at HOU: 3.71 ERA/1.35 WHIP; skills not so much: 3% K-BB |
8 | Jonathan Cannon | CHW v DET | x | 60 | 4.15 | 1.35 | 11% | 17th | Classic deep lg 2-step fodder after a solid May: 3.83 ERA/1.28 WHIP/15% K-BB | ||
9 | Stephen Kolek | SDP at SFG | x | 30 | 4.11 | 1.30 | 11% | 23rd | I think we all knew his fast start was just that, so he’s a standard streamer as expected; 2-step has some appeal for wins chasers | ||
10 | Luis Severino | ATH v MIN | 71 | 3.89 | 1.23 | 10% | 20th | Looks like clear road streamer right now w/a 6.20 ERA/1.45 WHIP at home & 0.87 ERA/0.94 WHIP on the road | |||

I see Fitts gets 3 X’s, how do you feel about Giolito against the Angels?
I’d probably take the shot on Gio!
