Starting Pitcher Chart – June 24th, 2025

Daily SP Chart archive
The chart includes their performance for 2025, their opponent’s wOBA rank versus the pitcher’s handedness from this year so far, my general start/sit recommendation for 10-team, 12-team, and 15-team (or more) leagues, and then a note about them. Obviously, there are league sizes beyond those three so it’s essentially a shallow, medium, deep. If a pitcher only has an “x” in 15-team, it doesn’t mean there’s no potential use in 10s and 12s, but it’s a much riskier stream for those spots.
These are general recommendations, and your league situation will carry more weight whether you are protecting ratios or chasing counting numbers. This is for standard 5×5 roto leagues. The thresholds for H2H starts are generally lower, especially in points leagues so I thought there would be more valuable focusing on roto.

RK | PITCHER | GAME | 10 | 12 | 15+ | IP | ERA | WHIP | K-BB | 2025 wOBA RK | NOTE |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tarik Skubal | DET v ATH | x | x | x | 96 | 2.06 | 0.85 | 29% | 9th | Top of the board headlined by five southpaws including 4 of the best coming into this season |
| Garrett Crochet | BOS at LAA | x | x | x | 102 | 2.20 | 1.03 | 24% | 22nd | |
| Carlos Rodón | NYY at CIN | x | x | x | 95 | 3.10 | 0.98 | 21% | 21st | |
| Framber Valdez | HOU v PHI | x | x | x | 96 | 3.09 | 1.13 | 17% | 7th | |
| Kris Bubic | KCR v TBR | x | x | x | 85 | 2.12 | 1.12 | 18% | 17th | |
| Freddy Peralta | MIL v PIT | x | x | x | 88 | 2.76 | 1.11 | 15% | 29th | |
| Ryne Nelson | ARI at CHW | x | x | x | 55 | 3.88 | 1.08 | 12% | 30th | |
| Spencer Strider | ATL at NYM | x | x | x | 37 | 3.89 | 1.14 | 21% | 5th | Tough matchup pushes him down relative to his peers today, but he’s back to an unquestioned Auto-Start (2.00 ERA/0.89 WHIP/30% K-BB in 3 straight QS) |
| Kevin Gausman | TOR at CLE | x | x | x | 86 | 4.60 | 1.13 | 17% | 24th | |
| Ranger Suárez | PHI at HOU | x | x | x | 57 | 2.20 | 1.06 | 17% | 1st | He’s in one of his grooves and sure, HOU could break it, but I can’t sit him when he’s this hot: 7 ER in 53.7 IP after 7 ER in his first start (3.7 IP) |
| Jameson Taillon | CHC at STL | W | x | x | 86 | 3.84 | 1.04 | 14% | 12th | Still a road game against the team’s chief rival, so a W won’t be easy, but he catching STL at the right time (28th in wOBA vR L30) |
| Justin Wrobleski | LAD at COL | W | W | x | 24 | 5.18 | 1.19 | 15% | 27th | It’s still Coors and this isn’t an ace, but at the very least I’m willing to go for the Win |
| Luis Castillo | SEA at MIN | x | x | 85 | 3.37 | 1.24 | 12% | 15th | MIN sneakily on the rise, sitting top 10 vR in the L30; still like Castillo in most formats | |
| Andrew Heaney | PIT at MIL | x | x | 82 | 3.94 | 1.19 | 10% | 13th | MIL’s park is really stifling HRs this yr (82 Park Factor) so while we lean toward home starts w/Heandog, this is a good roadie to consider | |
| Justin Verlander | SFG v MIA | x | x | 56 | 4.45 | 1.43 | 10% | 22nd | Wasn’t great in his IL return, but hopefully he’s ramped enough to take full advantage of this excellent 2-step (at CHW on the wknd) | |
| Luis Severino | ATH at DET | x | x | 95 | 4.42 | 1.34 | 9% | 16th | Sevvy’s been exponentially better on the road: 6.79 ERA/1.60 WHIP in 57 home IP | 0.93/0.96 in 39 road IP | |
| Charlie Morton | BAL v TEX | x | x | 67 | 5.64 | 1.60 | 14% | 28th | Surging of late w/4 out of 5 good starts since returning to SP; still a hit-machine w/a severe downside, but I don’t mind streaming him here | |
| Taj Bradley | TBR at KCR | x | 80 | 4.95 | 1.35 | 11% | 27th | 7 BB, 3 HR, and 13 ER (he’s lucky all 5 at NYM were UER) in his last 3 starts (9.3 IP); I don’t blame anyone for skipping this start, but it’s an OK spot if you think this is a funk and I’m still inclined to hold as he had a 42 IP run of 3.21 ERA/1.09 WHIP right before this skid | ||
| Chris Paddack | MIN v SEA | x | 80 | 4.48 | 1.23 | 10% | 10th | SEA is on fire again, sitting 5th in wOBA over the L30 while Paddack’s come down from his hot streak w/12 ER in his L2; this one could be decided late w/how well the teams are hitting | ||
| Jacob Latz | TEX at BAL | x | 30 | 3.26 | 1.29 | 13% | 30th | I really hope they keep giving him an opener to help boost his modest Win upside, but there might be something here: 2.63 ERA/1.11 WHIP in 17.3 IP (incl. 2 extended follows and a traditional start) | ||
| Chase Burns | CIN v NYY | #N/A | #N/A | #N/A | #N/A | 3rd | Very intriguing debut from a premium prospect so I’m SUPER interested in picking him up just in case he clicks right away, but passing on the start w/this matchup | |||
| Cal Quantrill | MIA at SFG | 63 | 5.68 | 1.47 | 11% | 20th | ||||
| Erick Fedde 페디 | STL v CHC | 84 | 3.54 | 1.30 | 5% | 4th | ||||
| Sean Burke | CHW v ARI | 76 | 4.50 | 1.42 | 8% | 1st | ||||
| Trevor Williams | WSN at SDP | 74 | 5.54 | 1.45 | 12% | 14th | ||||
| Ryan Bergert | SDP v WSN | 24 | 1.88 | 0.96 | 11% | 19th | Ratios this low are near-guaranteed to regress for anyone, but these are likely to skyrocket w/a 7% SwStr and 11% K-BB | |||
| Tyler Anderson | LAA v BOS | 81 | 4.56 | 1.40 | 10% | 3rd | ||||
| Logan Allen로건 | CLE v TOR | 66 | 4.21 | 1.48 | 7% | 8th | ||||
| Frankie Montas | NYM v ATL | #N/A | #N/A | #N/A | #N/A | 13th | Season debut; we need 2-3 starts to really see what we’ve got here… of course, if this goes well, ppl will jump immediately and I’m just not there right now | |||
| Germán Márquez | COL v LAD | 73 | 6.11 | 1.64 | 8% | 2nd |
