What I do is I go through every position,list draftable players,combine Steamer,ZiPS,PECOTA first. Than I take the the fans projections and adjust them for what I personally project. I typically go through player pages and look for things that stand out. I average this with the projections. I manually adjust for playing time and breakout potential for young player(by checking out scouting reports). This goes into a database that link to Excel ,insert dollar value,inflation,SPG formulas, and insert teams.

As the draft goes I assign the players to teams so I can look and compare projected totals..etc to see what I need and it is weighted in values.

It is a lot of work, but isn’t that bad.
