The latest episode of “The Sleeper and the Bust” is live!

Jason Collette and Nicholas Minnix wrap up the regular season by talking:

Jordan Zimmermann’s no-hitter; Ryan Braun’s upcoming thumb procedure and 2015 value; and AL and NL fantasy MVPs by position.

As usual, don’t hesitate to tweet us or comment with fantasy questions so that we may answer them in our next episode.

The performance from PEDs for Braun wasn’t the concern from Braun this year for me. Health was. PEDs allow you to recover quickly and perform through injury. And lets not pretend Braun hasn’t always been that guy with a nagging injury for 90% of thy year

So now that the off-season is here, my mind turns to keeper questions and I was hoping you guys might have some thoughts on my keepers. I play in a 10 team 5×5 mixed league format with OBP replacing AVG on the batting side and with QS and K:BB ratio replacing W and SV. I can keep 5 guys and I am certain to keep Goldschmidt at $30, Abreu at $15 and Puig at $10. My leading candidates for the other 2 keeper spots are Scherzer at $25, Gordon at $10, Cole at $10, Betts at $10, Carrasco at $10 and D’Arnaud at $5.

I think I have eliminated D’Arnaud and probably Betts. Gordon was great this year but it wouldn’t take much for his value to tank, so I’m probably not going with him. It would have seemed crazy a month ago, but I can’t get around that keeping Carrasco at $10 is a good play and that maybe it’s better to go with Cole and Carrasco each at $10 and throw back Scherzer. Any thoughts?
