Thanks for the follow up on Segura. Terrible, terrible tragedy for him and his family. It was 12 team mixed roto for the record.
Appreciate the attempt to have podcast, but the utter inability to make much sense of Eno’s constantly in/out fading voice meant this was very painful to listen to.
Holy crap Eno. It’s 2014, are you telling me you can’t do a podcast without sounding like your on a cell phone in the middle of the Sahara? Jason n Sundays sounds good. Don’t hear Nick’s voice cutting in or out….what gives?
It’s possible because we’re on the road that it’s my connection causing the issue. It was unexpected, given our previous difficulties and our subsequent adjustments, recent success avoiding the issue. Appreciate you sticking with us. Going to do what I can to resolve it.
These are always worth a listen even with sound problems.
Could you guys take a quick look at Wainwright? I noticed that his Velocity and Zone% (2 of the main warning signs of health problems according to Jeff Z.) are trending moderately down from the beginning of the year. This is the first time I looked at his Pitch F/X data. I was surprised to see that he throws such a slow fastball.
No way the game should decide home field in the World Series…
The information being provided by Eno and Jason is excellent and is why I listen. Nicholas needs to fine tune his hosting a bit. He rambles in between topics trying to find witty things to say that are irrelevant…not all transitions have to be witty, just move on. Also Nicholas, its OK to disagree with Eno or Jason, stand your ground instead of backpedaling. And call them out if you disagree, having a counter-argument and making them back up their beliefs is how we learn. All-in-all a good listen…I’ve recommended it to others as well….keep plugging away guys.

Can you discuss Chris Coghlan? In the radio/tv broadcasts over the weekend, there was mention of him feeling that his legs are much healthier than the last few years. I notice he’s been running a fair bit too. Reason to think what he’s done lately is anything more than magic pixie gold dust?
Don’t worry. You guys absolutely crush any other baseball podcast and I will be sticking with you always. Just keep working at it…
Nearly impossible to listen to at points which is a real shame because the information in these podcasts is pure gold.
