And congrats Jason on winning fantasy baseball writer of the year! Congrats again Eno on the nomination, well deserved! Either of you could have won. I was honored just to be part of the process, then to get nominated along with the two of you…not something I expected. Great company for sure.

Love the podcast, thanks for asking for feedback – I love 90 minutes, all of it is meaningful and interesting and is like an oasis in the desert of the offseason! I would vote for not a minute shorter if I had a vote. I don;t typically listen to it in one shot anyway, so it gives me something to tune in to for a couple of days.
Love the podcasts, but I was surprised how you dealt with the Braves. Talking about Uggla for 10 min is laughable with no mention of Heyward or Simmons. Both of which are guys who haven’t reached their ceilings but come with big expectations this year. I was very disappointed. The pitch framing is an interesting topic that will scare some away from braves pitchers.
For the Cardinals, uber prospect Oscar Taveras has been caught in molasses the past year. Will he get an early opportunity to start and never look back, or is he looking at another half year of development before he is considered?
Is Motte coming back to close from day 1?
For Cubs, talk prospects please, because they don’t have anything else anyone cares about besides Samarjda (sp?) and Rizzo. I wonder if the bottle necking at SS will make someone move to 3B and keep Bryant in the minors until ’15 or a Sept taste at best?…

What is your take on Simmons? All the “just enough” homers makes the power seem like a red flag on the surface. His ability to drive a good % of his LD out of the park leads me to believe he can repeat.
I Projected him for 40% FB/15% IFFB rate. A .265 ish BABIP will keep his avg. in the .250’s, but 20 HR upside?
Miller/Wacha/Martinez would be interesting discussion. I’m disappointed that Rosenthal may never be given the opportunity to start. As for the Cubs? ha. Rizzo/Castro will have to work? They’ll be more interesting to talk about next year once they’re studs are a little closer to the show.

Congrats on the award/nomination! You two are doing a great job. I loved this one–it’s really interesting to hear why you two feel a little different about Gomez and why you should look at BABIP over multiple years (plus look at where contact goes).
You’ve got a lot to talk about all ready with these teams. All I need to know: Starlin Castro–will the steals come back? Can he return to .270? In other words, a mixed-league, 12-team starter? Or leave him alone?
